PET CONCIERGE - Walker/Sitter
We are a LOCAL (Austin, Tx), VETERINARIAN-OWNED pet services team who stands out from the others due to our high level of customer service.
We are looking for someone to join our Pet Concierge team who is self-motivated with a positive, cheerful attitude and a solid work ethic and history. Our service area is primarily downtown Austin and the immediate surrounding areas within a 5-8 mile radius.
Our Pet Concierge Staff:
-Are familiar with proper dog handling and appropriate responses to various pet behaviors
-Have strong customer service values/skills
-Excel at multi-tasking
-Extremely reliable, dependable, on time, and work both independently and with others
-Have knowledge of the downtown/South Congress/East Austin areas
-Have a reliable vehicle
Joining our team also means that you:
-Are at least 18 years old
-DOG WALKING-Have availability several days per week on weekdays, evenings and/or weekends, including holidays
-PET SITTING-Have availability days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
-Knowledge of social media, Group Me, and working with online apps is also necessary.
Duties include:
-Basic dog and cat care - hugs and kisses, feeding, walking, cleaning up p**p and p*e
-Physically being able to walk pets of various sizes/weights multiple times per day using 6 foot or less leads in most types of weather (it's Austin.....)
-Taking Insta-worthy pics and selfies with the best pets in the city.
You will receive periodic training in safety, Pet CPR and first aid, and pet behavior. You will be well supported by our nurturing management who treats you like family. And you will be wearing the most amazing branded Pawstin gear as well!
