En asociación con Austin Public Health (APH), Austin Public Works está gestionando la construcción del Centro de Salud Pública de Dove Springs (5811 Palo Blanco Lane). La instalación de dos pisos está financiada por la Elección de Bonos de 2018 y consistirá en un Centro Vecinal; despensa de alimentos; Mujeres, Bebés y Niños (WIC) y programas de vacunación; y una guardería de alta calidad. Se espera que el edificio esté terminado este otoño.
En julio, se finalizó el exterior del edificio, incluidas las paredes de estuco, las ventanas, los paneles solares y los techos. Hay electricidad en el edificio para que los trabajos que incluyen pintura y ebanistería puedan avanzar. La instalación de servicios públicos, nivelación, tuberías de riego y otros elementos del sitio está en curso. Se envió una convocatoria de presentaciones de artistas para obras de arte comunitarias que retraten la comunidad de Dove Springs con fecha límite el 10 de julio.
