My little ones are now three weeks, and moving around so much more now. They are already getting responsive to my voice and aren't scared of my ugly face anymore (I got a few tiny hisses when their eyes were just opening) 🤣

Lately Dot has gotten really bitey with me lately, and I couldn't figure out if it was related to her being protective or jealous of her kittens. She starts off really affectionate and loving then sudden wants to fling herself at my arm/hand to bite it. Which leads to me leaving the room more often.

Yesterday I got stuff toys for the kittens (which I do with all foster kittens) and Dot claimed them, lol. When I checked on them this morning all six toys were in the box with them (Dot's been doing this with springy toys every night 🤣)

Today when Dot started to focus on my hands I tossed one of the bird toys on the bed and she ran after it and returned it to me. 'Oh, you like fetch, huh?'
For the next 15-20 minutes we played fetch, which she enjoyed so much and burned off her kitten energy, which made me realize that was likely why she's been trying to bite me. She wants to play and she has a strong prey drive.

Next time we play this evening I'll try to video it.

So this has to become the cover of a future book.
For YEARS I've wanted to write a children's book about Gideon and me saving lives (like as unofficial firefighters). I've written a couple short stories, but not yet a book. And I also want to write a children's book about 'Seren and the Golden Cloak' that would kind of be about us 'saving lives' too but in the foster kitten way (sharing kitten health knowledge along the way.)

Aaron, Alina, and Aash turned two weeks old today (well Aaron did yesterday) and they are all getting so big and even more beautiful.

Aash is a chonk.
He turned two weeks old today, he is 325g, that's more the average size of a three week old.
Alina is 223g and Aaron is 198g, which both of them are basically right where they should be at two weeks old (considering how tiny these two were at birth their beautifulweights make me so happy!).
AASH IS TWO WEEKS OLD AND ALREADY HAS A PUDGE BELLY STARTING 🤣

It's that time again where I have to humbly ask for food donations for my foster kitties (namely the purnia pro plan wet kitten food that mama Dot chows down, but I'd appreciate any of the food on my Wishlist.)

The adult wet/dry cat food would be for my Walgreens boys that I hope to transition them to (they are getting chonky on the kitten food I still feed them 😅)

Miss Green had a meet and greet on Friday and was officially adopted yesterday and should be going to her new forever home this evening. It's going to be emotional seeing this precious girl leave us, but I'm so excited for her. She truly deserves the absolute best, and I pray she has a very long, happy, healthy life with her adopter! 💖

Yesterday Aaron turned a week old, and today Alina and Aash turned a week old. Eyeball fairy dust is peeking through!

Dot was such a hoot. She got jealous of me taking pictures of Aaron so she jumped up and photo bombed him 🤣

I'm in tears right now.
I just got an Amazon package with this beautiful angel holding a cat in it. There was no note of who sent it (because we didn't order it).
To whoever sent this beautiful, loving gift to me, THANK YOU SO MUCH. It truly just blessed my heart. 😭

Is anyone looking to adopt a sweet pair (or know someone that is looking?) I'm sure y'all remember sweet Hop and Sweet Tea that I babysat a couple months ago. They are looking for their forever home and would definitely be happy going to a forever home together. They are great with other cats and with dogs. They are snuggly angels that deserve the absolute best!

Little Aaron has reminded me so much of Yuli this past week that I wanted to post side by side pictures of Yuli (first three pics) and of Aaron.

A lot of you remember Yuli from 2019, he was born weighing 48g and dropped overnight to 42g. He tried but he was just too weak to affectively nurse. Mom and I took shifts bottle/syringe feeding him (this is when we were introduced to the miracle ni**le, and it truly lived up to its name!)
That first couple of weeks I woke up every day fearing he would be dead.
But, he was such a little fighter and he has grown up into a huge floof!

I thank God Aaron has figured out eating quicker, and has neared 100g so much sooner than Yuli did. Just like Yuli, Aaron has a strong warrior spirit. 🥰

This sweet baby still deserved a name. Aalyah means 'rising, ascending” and “highborn, exalted, sublime'.

I dug a grave for him (I didn't even check gender, but he was Dot's mini me) just now.

You'd think death at some point would get easier, but it doesn't. Stillborn, are easier to deal with in a sense because there's no doubt that it was completely out of my control. When it's a kitten like Amie it's harder because I might have been able to do something to save her, but again, she was born so little that mentally I was prepared for the worse. Tube feeding was her only real chance, but unfortunately not knowing how sooner hindered me.

But with this new skill when Aaron wouldn't take the bottle this morning I tube fed him and gave him a warm meal, which led him to gaining a couple grams.
Thankfully Alina gained overnight by nursing, so that was wonderful. 🥰

Please keep these littles in your prayers that we can get them all BIG AND STRONG!

Just learned a bottle baby skill I've been scared to learn for years, but wish I Learned sooner.
The amazing Katherine at the APA nursery trained me to tube feed these little ones.
Unfortunately little Amie passed away before I got home from work, so I missed out on the chance to fight to save her... but she will be the face I see going forward that gave me the push I desperately needed to Conquer this fear. In so doing I can fight in a new way to save her brother and sister, and future kittens.

I love you sweet Amie, run free with my Peace and Seren on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈 🥺
