A few months ago, our friend .it.dangle held a fundraiser for us in honor of caring for others in the shelter and rescue space. Now, we’re going to pay it forward!

We’re using the funds he raised, along with early Black Friday deals and a little magic, to purchase as many puzzle toys, snuffle mats, lick mats, chews, peanut butter, and more as we can for 12 small TX shelters. ✨ But! We simply can’t accept dogs without committed fosters and this season, more dogs than ever are needing us. To keep saving lives through December and beyond, we need fosters of all kinds, including short-term holiday fosters.

A week, a weekend, or until adoption every foster home means another dog gets safety, love, and a soft place to land instead of being turned away. Foster homes can have children, dogs or cats.

We learned something very important during Pearl’s Christmas photoshoot… her face might scream the Grinch, but don’t be fooled, this girl is actually the holiday Cheermeister herself! Every time the photographer yelled “CUTE!!” for the 1,000th time, Pearl just stared like ma’am… let’s be serious, then immediately wagged her tail and tried to kiss everyone in a five-foot radius!🎄

She had the best time posing, prancing, and spreading her secretly sweet holiday spirit. Pearl is dog friendly, loves going to playgroup with all sizes of dogs and is fully prepared to bring major Cheermeister energy to her forever home!

Calling all Austin Trail lovers! Barkley rolled up to the pack walk like he’d been training for it his whole life. Perfect pace, perfect manners, perfect little tail swish the entire time. He mingled, he strutted, he checked on his humans like the polite gentleman he is!

And off the trail? He’s just as dreamy! Barkley is gentle, easygoing, great with other dogs including his foster sibling, and happiest when he’s hanging close to his people! Barkley would fit seamlessly into any home as he’s already house trained!

Ferdinand is truly the definition of go-with-the-flow as long as he can bring his toys and find at least one perfect stick on his walk (picture of perfect stick)! This easygoing guy also loves being an ‘assistant’ at work… though productivity may be low because his calendar is packed with nap appointments and very serious squirrel-patrol duties.🤭

He’s great with other dogs, gentle with kids, loves giving kisses, and will happily lean his whole body into you for more scratches. He also loves car rides to breweries to meet more people, Ferdinand has never met a brewery patio he didn’t like!

We learned something new about Trixie this weekend at our event… she’s a total extrovert! This girl is all about picnics at the brewery, stealing a french fry(or two) when you’re not looking, and making friends with every teenager she meets. She’s the life of the party wrapped up in a wiggly, happy pup!

Trixie’s ready to find her forever family, one that loves playtime, resting on the couch, and a little extra warmth at night (stealing your pillow)🤭.

Sweet Miss Cider Baby is ready to warm your heart this Thanksgiving! 🍎 She’s been cozying up in her foster home with another doggie friend, and the two of them love to play, nap, and repeat!

Cider’s the perfect companion, she loves other dogs, adores people, and settles right in wherever she goes especially on those couch cushions! 📍Austin, TX - No matter what the tests say, Kronk still has the best heart 💕

This 2 year old adoptable boy is cat friendly, dog friendly, kid friendly, and loves everyone. He does well alone and cuddles hard.

But he also has a heart condition that’s going to require surgery very soon. We are hopeful this surgery will lead to a long and normal life, but for now he’s taking some medication while he waits on his appointment with a specialist in January.

Despite this heart condition, he can still play and have fun!

Any time with him will be ✨ magical ✨ and so worth it!
