These puppies are part of our community support program! A local community member’s two dogs had puppies (don’t worry, we’re helping them get spayed and neutered ASAP!). Now, his landlord wants them to leave because they’ve been escaping to the road and nearby businesses, so we are trying to help him find homes!

About the pups:
🌟 Social butterflies, they come running for affection!
🌟 Treats are gold - some have already learned to politely sit for them!
🌟 Toys are their favorite and they all share them well!
🌟 Up to date on shots and vet care
🌟 If you meet them and decide to adopt one, they’ll be spayed/neutered within 3 days by Love-A-Bull (if not already depending on when you see this) then ready to move in with you!
🌟 We’ll give plenty of resources on puppy training to be successful with your new pup!

It’s raining puppies!

We have TWO community cases of mama + puppy litters that we are working with community members to get care for.

Our first is a Mama and her 6 puppies, that were living outside and terrified of humans. Our volunteer was able to get in contact with the property owner, and they immediately agreed to accept our help with spay/neuter & vetting for the whole family. They will recover from their spay/neuter surgeries indoors as we try to make a plan for afterward. The puppies are currently looking for forever homes, and working on training to show them that humans love them, which Love-A-Bull is also covering.

Then, we were made aware of a mom, dad, and their 6 puppies that were also living outside. Their owner has been feeding them well and caring for them the best he can, despite some unjust legal struggles. He has caring people around him, like our friends at , but he is also Deaf, which presented a language barrier. Our wonderful volunteer, Janell, accompanied us to interpret as we came up with a game plan for his family of pups that made our new friend happy, as well as his very concerned landlord. We will be spay/neutering all 8 of his animals ($$$), and making sure all are fully vetted & vaccinated. 5 of the 6 puppies will be available for adoption, and we are working with the man and his landlord to keep him united with the mom, dad, and one of the puppies. ❤️

💔Sometimes our intake involves welcoming back a previously adopted dog. Victory has been abruptly returned to us, after his owner abandoned him at boarding. Victory needs a hero‼️

We first rescued Victory in July 2024 after a local shelter reached out about a mangey sweetheart who had a deadline due to space (first and second picture). We looked into his eyes and knew this sweet baby just wanted to feel loved. Fast forward to being adopted, we thought they would love him as much as we did until they dumped him at boarding and refused to pick him up.

Victory’s hero can be a long term foster or adopter! Victory is fully potty trained, loves car rides (picture two), walks (loose leash walker), fetch and his absolute favorite thing is snuggling! Despite the heartache, he loves to smile (picture four)! He is still decompressing after the trauma he just went through so an only dog home while we gain more info about how he would do in a home with other animals would be ideal.

Beaver’s fit was so icy, it brought a cold front to Austin, Tx❄️

Beaver is the perfect blend of silly and sweet! This short stack loves cuddling up on the couch with his foster family after his walkies! He also wouldn’t mind sharing the couch with you for a long nap!

Patch’s New Year’s resolution is to smile more and we think it’s going really well, so well he forget to put his ears on today😋

Patch brought out his pouty lip when I told him he didn’t have any applications☹️. He is extremely easy going and gets along great with other dogs! He is a short king who loves cuddling up next to his fur friends and humans! Honestly, Patch would do great in a variety of homes!

As a rescue we are sad. Fanta has been in foster for 123 days and we truly don’t have the answer to why so long. Fanta is a puppy who has been growing up in the home of a wonderful foster family who has another dog and cats! Did we mention he’s also kid friendly!

For 9 months old, Fanta is extremely mellow and goes with the flow and just wants to be by your side. He is a pro at making new friends whether they’re humans or pups. He loves his walks and does great on the leash! He is loving, charming and a true catch. This guys adoptable nature means he will great in a variety of homes!

Midnight has now been in foster for 52 days. We’ve learned a lot about what a sweet and gentle guy he is but we think everyone should know this about him:

4.Like a Teenager-enjoys wearing his pjs all day🧶
5.Silent Shawdow- enjoys being next to his people❤️

🦮Come walk off all those holiday treats and join us this Sunday 1/5 (and the first Sunday of every month) at 9am for our pittie pack walk!

Meet your walk leader wearing Love-A-Bull gear under the Giant Spider Sculpture at the corner of Tom Miller Street and Berkman Drive (Mueller area with 3700 Berkman Drive as a reference point, you’ll see the tall sculpture from there)!

The walk is just under 2.5miles long and takes an hour to complete. There are multiple areas to end your walk early if you’d like!

This is a casual, fun, on-leash stroll intended to showcase responsible guardianship and all dogs are welcome - you do not need to have a pitbull type dog to join the walk!

We kindly request just ONE dog per person on the walk, please.

What to bring:
🦴6ft or shorter leash
🦴 P**p bags
🦴 Harness, muzzle, head halter as needed to have a safe and enjoyable walk with people and other dogs!
🦴 Water for you and your pup

Important to Know!
📌 This is not an off-leash area; however with so much open safe we ask you to always keep an eye on the environment in the chance that there are other dog owners who may not be aware.
📌 Please be respectful of other participating dogs and their needs, and always ask before approaching or petting another dog.
📌 Please be the best advocate for the dog you are walking, and if at any point they are uncomfortable, please do create space for them and/or verbalize what you need from the humans. The Walk Leads will be available to assist you!
📌 At Love-A-Bull, we believe that positive reinforcement creates a stress-free and rewarding experience for dogs, and we are strong advocates for force-free training. Positive based training helps build trust with your dog and helps you bond and have fun with them. We encourage you to leave behind any tools such as prong collars or e-collars for the Pittie Pack Walk.
