Beau & Gimli’s Mom came to us because she abruptly lost her housing and needs help to keep her beloved boys with her. ❤️

🏡 We were able to find temporary placement for her for the last 3 weeks. She is now working to secure long term placement!

📋She sought out every housing assistance option available, but they all have waiting lists a mile long 💔

🏠Our friend found some options that fit into her price range with her new job, but she still needs help with the upfront fees like deposits and continued temporary housing until she finds a place that approves her!

🐶 She is committed to keeping her pets with her rather than surrendering them to the shelter, and getting them in tip top health! Help us show the world that when someone needs help to *keep* their beloved pets that they’re supported!

Come walk off all that Thanksgiving food and join us this Sunday 12/1 (and the first Sunday of every month) at 9am for our pittie pack walk!

Meet your walk leader wearing Love-A-Bull gear under the Giant Spider Sculpture at the corner of Tom Miller Street and Berkman Drive (Mueller area with 3700 Berkman Drive as a reference point, you’ll see the tall sculpture from there)!

The walk is just under 2.5miles long and takes an hour to complete. There are multiple areas to end your walk early if you’d like!

This is a casual, fun, on-leash stroll intended to showcase responsible guardianship and all dogs are welcome - you do not need to have a pitbull type dog to join the walk!

We kindly request just ONE dog per person on the walk, please.

What to bring:
🦴6ft or shorter leash
🦴 P**p bags
🦴 Harness, muzzle, head halter as needed to have a safe and enjoyable walk with people and other dogs!
🦴 Water for you and your pup

Important to Know!
📌 This is not an off-leash area; however with so much open safe we ask you to always keep an eye on the environment in the chance that there are other dog owners who may not be aware.
📌 Please be respectful of other participating dogs and their needs, and always ask before approaching or petting another dog.
📌 Please be the best advocate for the dog you are walking, and if at any point they are uncomfortable, please do create space for them and/or verbalize what you need from the humans. The Walk Leads will be available to assist you!
📌 At Love-A-Bull, we believe that positive reinforcement creates a stress-free and rewarding experience for dogs, and we are strong advocates for force-free training. Positive based training helps build trust with your dog and helps you bond and have fun with them. We encourage you to leave behind any tools such as prong collars or e-collars for the Pittie Pack Walk.

In sensitive cases, our intake begins where compassion leads. Midnight will never have to experience this type of pain again. He’s ready to find his forever home where he only experiences love and snuggles! Despite Midnight’s past, he’s extremely dog friendly! We have videos of him with all sizes of dogs both female and male. He’s a lover who enjoys playing with his fur friends what more could you want. If you’ve ever met a chill dog, his name has to be Midnight!

A huge thank you to and KCAS for all the medical attention and love they have shown Midnight! Because of them Midnight was able to have a second chance and we are very excited to be apart in his journey to his forever home!

We are crying happy tears for Midnight… he had suffered a terrible injury from an embedded chain, but he has almost finished his healing process, and he left today for Love-A-Bull rescue! He was a happy sweet boy even after his life on a chain.. We will miss you Midnight! Have a wonderful life!

💔Sometimes our intake involves welcoming back a previously adopted dog after the loss of their beloved owner. At 6 years old, she was adored by her late owner, who gave her a life full of care, training, and companionship. Now, through no fault of her own, Piper is looking for a second chance to be part of a loving home.

This calm and well-mannered girl is low to moderate energy, making her a perfect fit for someone who appreciates a laid-back companion. Piper is fully housetrained and comfortable spending time alone during the day, as she was accustomed to being home while her parents were out. Piper is also highly intelligent and knows an impressive array of commands, including “sit,” “stay,” “down,” and “come.” Her previous owner’s dedication shines through her excellent training and loving demeanor. Cordelia recently joined a big play group and scored a perfect 5 stars on her report card! Here’s what they had to say: “Cordelia has a goofy personality! She’s the typical happy-go-lucky girl who’s just here to have a good time and make everyone smile with those ears. And let me tell you, those ears are a whole vibe! She matches other dogs’ energy effortlessly and loves being part of the pack.” The last slide shows a video!
