Love-A-Bull was organized to educate and to advocate on behalf of the American Pit Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier, the Staffordshire Terrier, and Bull Terrier (all breeds commonly referred to as “pit bulls”) and pit bull mixes.

✨ The Summer Deb Cost Us $7,200.49 (at least)✨

And every single dollar has been worth it. Thanks to chemotherapy, Debbie’s tail mast cell tumor has shrunk enough for her to bravely head into lifesaving surgery on September 8th.

She’ll be in the care of a specialist team of highly skilled oncologists and surgeons at Pet Specialists of Austin who will be closely monitoring her every step of the way. 💛

This is very good news! Her doctors believe she has a strong prognosis, as long as she keeps her village around her. As long as Debbie remains stable under anesthesia, the surgeon will also remove two mammary gland masses and mast cell tumor on her leg at the same time, giving her an even better shot at a healthy future.

Her amazing fosters have shown up for every chemo appointment, every pill, every ride, and every cuddle. Reminding Debbie that she’s never alone in this fight.

Now she needs all of us to keep standing with her. 🐾

This year for National Dog Day, we’re celebrating not only the amazing pups waiting for their forever homes, but also the dogs of our leadership team , the behind-the-scenes heroes who remind us why we do what we do. They’re the wagging tails that greet us on our hardest days, the cuddle buddies and the joy that makes every day in rescue worth it. ❤️‍🩹

Aspen doesn’t understand why he’s back in foster care😢. He was once adopted, but through no fault of his own, he’s searching again for the family who will finally be his forever.

This 2-year-old sweetheart has his priorities in order according this foster mom:
1️⃣ Cuddles
2️⃣ Food
3️⃣ Kisses
4️⃣ Belly rubs
5️⃣ Naps

He’s got plenty of wiggle-butt energy when excited, but just a couple of walks a day will cash him right out!

He is:
✅ Crate-trained
✅ House-trained
✅ Great on leash
✅ Dog-friendly
✅ Responsive to training
✅ Solid errands buddy (though he thinks car rides = cuddle time🤪)

Whether you’re an artist, doodler, or just brimming with ideas, this is your chance to create something that shows off the beauty, resilience, and love of pit bull-type dogs. The winning design will be printed and worn proudly by our supporters everywhere.
