🤠 Howdy, partners! We’ve got ourselves a new little cowboy in town, and his name is Howdy! This 1-year-old cutie has the bounciest ears you’ve ever seen and a heart that’s just as big as the open range. He’s full of personality, sweetness, and kissable charm!

But here’s the best part, Howdy loves talking about his rescue friends! We’ve got some truly incredible adult dogs ready and waiting for adoption over on our website. Each one has their own story and is looking for a chance to ride off into the sunset with their forever family!

Welcome Opalite💫

This tiny gem is the smallest of her siblings, and unfortunately came to us much thinner than the rest. Now that she’s safe in our care, she’ll get all the love, food, and vet support she needs to grow strong and shine!

Meet Archer!🏹

This 8-week-old little guy came to us with his two sisters, and he’s been growing stronger and healthier every day while recovering from a skin condition he faced early on.

Archer is curious, playful, and full of puppy charm. He loves exploring, discovering new toys, and spending time giving everyone kisses,but after he’s had his wiggles out, he’s all about snuggles and cuddles.

This sweet boy is ready to hop into a forever home where he can play, grow, and share all the love he has to give.

We’ve partnered with on a BIG project to bring pitties to new audiences in a campaign called Don’t Let Misconceptions Create Missed Connections.

The idea? Dogs are looking for people instead of people looking for dogs.

It centers around dog inspired pick up lines and we can’t wait to share more over the next two weeks!

Welcome, Cider! 🥹

Meet 2-year-old Cider, our newest save from Sherman, TX. She spent her summer in a tiny tin shed at an overcrowded 8-kennel shelter. She lived each day at risk of the moment another dog came through the doors.💔

But today, she’s safe because of the kindness of shelter staff and volunteers who stepped up in incredible ways! Not only did Cider get her chance, but so did another at-risk pup. This kind of teamwork is what saves lives.

Cider is a sweet extremely silly gal! See the last photo when she found out she was headed to a foster home until finding her forever!🤭 She is in foster with 1 other adult dog and they love hanging out and playing. She’s ready to find her forever family! Please spread Cider story!

Little Deb has a giant update and a happy announcement! ⬇️🏡

If you’ve been following Debbie’s story, you know she’s had a summer full of doctors appointments and chemo, all in hopes of a successful and life saving surgery where her tail was to be amputated due to a large cancerous tumor. Well, Sweet Debbie had her big surgery recently to remove her tumors, and she was such a rockstar! Debbie did so well that the vets were able to remove some additional mammary bumps that turned out to be cancerous as well. The best part is that her team got good margins on each tumor. That means Debbie’s prognosis is excellent, with very low chances the cancer will spread.

But here’s what Deb is most excited about… her amazing foster family fell head over heels in love with her through this journey, and decided to make it official. Debbie has been adopted by the ones who have loved her along this whole journey🏡💕

From rescue to recovery to forever family, we couldn’t be happier for this brave girl or her new family! 💪

☁️Introducing Skye!☁️

This 3-year-old beauty came to us from Kerrville and has already stolen our volunteer hearts! She’s a gentle, affectionate pup who adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She currently has a 7 year old foster brother!

Skye loves playtime and showing off her big, happy smile even at the vet! But she’s just as happy to curl up by you and have her butt scratched!
