đŸŒ± The Illusion of Purity: A Cautionary Tale of Greens đŸŒ±

Ah, the allure of these greens—so vibrant, so fresh, seemingly the epitome of organic purity. But let us not be beguiled by appearances, for they are but a façade.

🚹 The Unpalatable Truth 🚹

These greens, so artfully packaged to evoke a sense of natural wholesomeness, are anything but. The term "organic" has been co-opted, its meaning diluted to serve the interests of an industry that often relies on synthetic chemicals. What you're looking at is not food; it's a simulacrum, a shadow of what nourishment should be.

🌿 The Semantic Deception 🌿

Laws now permit some hydroponically and aeroponically grown vegetables to bear the "organic" label. But let's not quibble over semantics. The real question is not whether these greens are "organic," but whether they are conducive to the health of our bodies, our planet, and the intricate ecosystems that sustain us. The answer, unequivocally, is no.

💧 The 'X'-Ponics Fallacy 💧

These water-based growing methods infuse plants with synthetic nutrients (as opposed to naturally derived), creating a vegetative equivalent of the Standard American Diet (SAD). Yes, you may live on such fare, but it's a ticking time bomb for your health, not to mention the murkiness of what’s in these inputs.

Let us not be swayed by the siren call of convenience or the illusion of purity. We must demand better—for ourselves, for our planet, and for future generations. Eat local organic from small stores, not big box retailers. They are machines in the system that are commoditizing your food.

I’ll be speaking on Thursday at Fedsupernova.com led by the dept of defense on food security and not only securing the nation’s food supply but how to ensure it’s done with both environmental and human health in mind.

Fed Supernova connects entrepreneurs, government, and industry together to collaborate on dual-use solutions that put commercial technology in the hands of the DoD. This 3-day event accelerates defense innovation by creating a unique, once-a-year opportunity for the entire ecosystem to converge with...

We're witnessing a drift towards increasing isolation. As we lose touch with each other and our earthly roots, the overall fabric of our collective strength starts to fray. Our disregard for the environment takes a toll, as we misuse and overtax our planet's resources. The repercussions are evident in the escalating climate crisis. Global warming can be viewed as a fever gripping the planet, a manifestation of inflammation at a global scale.

My quote for today. We literally have to build a new parallel food system to get what’s rightfully ours.

Ultra processed foods have been shown to adversely affect health. It’s simple. The “food” we eat today are simply chemical concoctions. Choose organically grown whole foods.

In farming today, crop 'Yield' is the key metric used to ‘feeding the world’. But chasing yield is, and has been, a vicious cycle downwards, involving ongoing innovative chemical inputs into our soils. The correct metric: Rate of nutrient absorption to cells.

Satiety sits in the cells.

Satiety at the cellular level means that, cells, the “bricks” for our bodies need the food. The “food” they need are the essential nutrients extracted from food. If our food doesn’t have them, then the cells starve. Yet you may be full in the stomach! This false positive needs to change.

The evidence speaks for itself. Recent generations have become sicker with chronic issues which is a function of loss of nutrients in our food. As the food declines in both nutrition and increases in chemicals used, we’ve seen a commensurate decline in health.

The issue now is are we working for the right metrics? There is no profit in increasing nutrient absorption into cells. The profit lies in keeping us sick.

Support regenerative organic farming. This method supports our eco-systems, soils, and the health of us living in balance with the planet.

This is extremely concerning. Just like ’men’ are trying to control nature, examples abound
they are now starting to control food production. The misdirected evidence cited around “climate” is not due to individual farmers, but solely a result of farm consolidation and control by large Agro-chemical giants.

In other words, it’s NOT the individual (regenerative) farmers that are the issue. It’s the factory based farms that are responsible for chemical run offs into pure land and into our water system, because the way they grow food is chemical based
.

Meaning, that in order to grow food, without synthetic fertilizers or various chemicals they wouldn’t be able to grow. They claim they need fertilizers to grow food? You don’t. Fertilization never existed 100 years ago. THey claim to need chemicals to prevent pest from eating the plant. You don’t as long as you maintain a balanced soil environment.

They use chemicals on over 99% of our US farms and over 97% of Canadian farms to give the plants the bare minimum fertilization “slop” to grow.

These plants are far from nutritious. But that’s a point for another post.

This is going to continue to consolidate power into the hands of the few corporate giants who look to centralize food production for the world and we as populations trying to be healthy will be the ones to bear the burden. Centralization leads to control. Control is in the direct interest for those that seek profits from food production and sales, over growing with love and care, as it once was generations ago.

THIS IS THE TIME to get educated, and understand where your food is coming from and to do something about it. First educate yourself
.then we’ll talk about practical things we can do, especially if you’re living in the city.
