SPCA Pet of the Week
Looking for a furry companion who radiates love and joy? Meet Barry White, a 7 ½-year-old, 69-pound Terrier/American Pit Bull mix with a heart of gold. He is the perfect blend of sweetness and strength, making him an ideal addition to any family.
Barry White’s gentle nature shines through in everything he does. He has a soft spot for stuffed animals, often carrying them around like cherished treasures. His calm demeanor and love for treats make him an easy-going and delightful friend. Barry White has a lovely, short white coat, spotted floppy ears, and dark soulful eyes.
He's good with kids and other dogs, but as with all shelter pets, it’s best to bring all 2- and 4-legged siblings to a meet and greet prior to adopting. One of Barry White’s favorite pastimes is cuddling. Whether it’s a lazy afternoon on the couch or a quiet evening under the stars, Barry White is ready to snuggle up and provide comfort.
Barry White’s gentle soul and affectionate nature make him a standout companion. He’s looking for a loving home where he can continue to share his endless love and warmth. If you’re ready for a loyal friend who loves treats, cuddles, and stuffed animals, Barry White is the perfect match for you.
Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Barry White has been neutered, and microchipped, and is up to date on all his necessary vaccinations. He is housed at the Dallas Animal Care Center (2400 Lone Star Drive, 75212), so come by any day between Noon and 6 p.m. to meet him.
Animals are available for adoption at both the SPCA Dallas Animal Care Center and the Ellis County Animal Care Center (2570 FM Road 878 in Waxahachie, Texas).
