Someone is using extreme restraint to not eat my kiddos Sno-cones! Still a puppy in training and newly adopted by her Momma after being fostered by me I am proud of her training progress and the work Mom is putting in! Rayleigh is currently in training with me now to be a reading/emotional support dog for my kids school. Their Assistant Principal adopted her and it’s a perfect match!

Aspen is a Great Pyrenees puppy who needs a forever home! She’s goofy but pretty chill. She gets along fine with teenagers, other dogs, cats, and ignores Chinchillas, She is crate trained and potty trained and would make a great addition to any family! She’s currently in training with me but would love a family of her own! This is Tokyo! My current foster friend waiting for her forever family. She is super sweet and very chill. She’s great with other dogs no matter the size or rowdiness. Great with cats and older kids too! She’s been clicker conditioned and we’re working on basics but mostly trying to build her confidence around people. She can be shy but it’s easy to work through. She’s loyal and loving and just wants to hang out. Once she loves you she’s practically velcro and will burrow and cuddle forever. Fill out an application at www.saveanangel.org

Once again, ALL animals need mental stimulation as well as exercise! Here’s my Chinchilla, Boo figuring out how to get his treat from an empty cardboard ribbon spool. He’ll enjoy chewing on it when he’s figured it out! Upcycle ♻️ and use what you have around the house to see how YOUR furry critter can forage and figure out problems even in captivity (he does get out but he is obviously domesticated.) Be creative! Let’s talk Animal Enrichment! It’s not just for Dogs,Cats, and Horses….all critters need body AND mind stimulation and to forage for food at least part of the time! I use things like plastic bottles and different containers with different levels of difficulty for my dogs before splurging on the expensive interactive toys. Our Story

I’m Tiffany McCalla, aka The Dog Chick! I have loved animals since as long as I can remember and have been training and caring for animals professionally for over 13 years. I began my career at Triple Crown Dog Academy (now know as Starmark Behavior Center) after graduating and getting hired on as a full time trainer in the Retriever Department. There I cared for, trained, and ran 100’s of dogs in AKC and UKC Hunt Tests as well as trained family and rescue dogs in the obedience department. I have experience in service/therapy dog work, agility, scent work, rally and competitive obedience, trick training, and animal behavior modification among other disciplines.

I opened up and ran a retail store & dog training and daycare center in South Austin for several years. I currently train all over South and Central Austin privately as well as host events around town, have pop up group classes, work with some of Austin’s favorite rescues, pet sit, walk dogs, and generally just have a great time doing everything animal!

My goal is always to improve the bond and communication between you and your animal companion. All of my training is centered around exactly what you’re looking for as there is never a “magic” formula for every dog or every family. I care for my daycare, pet sitting, and walk dogs as if they were my own and have earned a reputation as part of the family with many of my clients.

My 11 year old daughter enjoys helping me train and walk dogs and has been my favorite assistant since she could walk. She runs her own dog washing business named after our former shop, The Furr Factor.
