Our days aren’t all cuddles and belly rubs, although that’s exactly what our furry friends’ days are! 🤝

What you don’t see — the Tetris puzzle that is making weekly schedules, the traffic getting from client to client on time, the unpredictable weather (it’s Texas after all), the leash tangles, and the worry that you’re not doing enough.

But you know what makes it worth it? When we get to hold and love on pups that become a part of our life too❤️ When you have a breakthrough with a leash reactive pup! When you see the excitement on a dog’s face the moment you open the door!

Today’s Take Me Home Tuesday is extra special as it features our very own Jane!!

She wasn’t planning to adopt just yet… and when she did, she thought it would be a big senior lab/pittie mix. But sometimes the right pup finds you.🐾

Meet Roux (FKA Rudy), an 11-year-old poodle/bichon mix who had been passed over again and again because of his age. When Jane learned his story and gave him a trial run, it was love at first snuggle. 💕

Archie is a happy, affectionate companion with the classic Shih Tzu “chill” vibe. He’s social with other dogs, enjoys playtime, and has the kind of gentle personality that makes him easy to love.

He’s doing well with house-training and uses the doggie door like a champ, though he occasionally gets so caught up in playing that he forgets to take a break. Archie is still young at heart, eager to please, and ready to be someone’s loyal best friend.
