Hi everyone!! My name is York and I knowwww it’s Friday, but See Jane Walk has given me a pass this time for a Special Edition 🥳🎉

As you can see in the pictures I am the most handsome, black Pittie in ATX…at least that’s what my foster mom tells me ☺️ I have been loving life as a guest at my foster’s house, but it’s time for me to find a home of my own, don’t you think?? 🥰🏡 I am house-trained and non-destructive — even when my foster mom goes to work…someone’s gotta pay the bills! But sometimes she stays home with me and I’m such a cuddle bug, I love snuggling up with her! She also said I’m the most comforting weighted blanket ever!! Just so you know, I’m totally ok in a house or an apartment, I just want someone to love me as much as I love them 😘 I do like my exercise too, such as long walks on the Lady Bird Trail or playing with other pups at the park (check out my big smile in the 3rd picture)😁

My foster mom said she can’t keep me forever, and I need to be adopted or transitioned to a new foster ASAP, although my vote is adoption!!🥰

Our days aren’t all cuddles and belly rubs, although that’s exactly what our furry friends’ days are! 🤝

What you don’t see — the Tetris puzzle that is making weekly schedules, the traffic getting from client to client on time, the unpredictable weather (it’s Texas after all), the leash tangles, and the worry that you’re not doing enough.

But you know what makes it worth it? When we get to hold and love on pups that become a part of our life too❤️ When you have a breakthrough with a leash reactive pup! When you see the excitement on a dog’s face the moment you open the door!

Today’s Take Me Home Tuesday is extra special as it features our very own Jane!!

She wasn’t planning to adopt just yet… and when she did, she thought it would be a big senior lab/pittie mix. But sometimes the right pup finds you.🐾

Meet Roux (FKA Rudy), an 11-year-old poodle/bichon mix who had been passed over again and again because of his age. When Jane learned his story and gave him a trial run, it was love at first snuggle. 💕
