Golden hour magic ✨ Did you know that RCA books Photography sessions with the public? Anything from Family Portraits to Editorial Publication submissions. Through our training practices we are able to provide clients with a horse that is safe, reliable, calm and beautiful.
Just yesterday we had the pleasure of helping capture a beautiful shoot with the helping hoof of our equine model ‘Mac’. 🌅

Hard to believe that RCA’s Summer Camp 2024 is already over! We are so grateful for all of the wonderful campers for making us laugh, the camp horses for bringing smiles to everyones faces, our awesome instructors for helping us learn, and all of our junior counselors for their hard work keeping everything on track! We watched all of our campers grow in their confidence, skill, and love for this sport. We already miss everyone so much, and can’t wait to do it again soon! Thank you for the memories! ❤️

This week of camp was definitely one to remember! The campers showed incredible progress, forming strong bonds with their horses and fellow riders. The atmosphere was buzzing with positivity and enthusiasm, making it a week to remember for everyone involved, and we can’t wait to do it again next week!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct horseback riding lessons for individuals and groups, catering to various skill levels from beginners to advanced riders.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that focus on safety, skill improvement, and emotional well being.
• Provide personalized feedback and training to help riders achieve their goals.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of both riders and horses during all activities.
• Assist in the care and maintenance of horses, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a horseback riding instructor is a plus but not a must, with a strong background in horsemanship and years of consistent English riding lessons.

• A positive and patient attitude, with a passion for teaching and helping others improve.

Graduating with Honors and over 7 years of experience, Dakota skillfully shapes her beginner students into well rounded english riders ready to pursue whatever path they desire! Pulling from her experience gentling mustangs alongside Kimber Wich in Bastrop, Texas, and her experience riding and showing at Kats Ranch in Southern California, Dakota creates confident, capable riders who can take their skills to the next level. In addition to her unique training style and set of skills, Dakota’s countless hours spent learning from Head Trainer and Instructor Brianna Reed ensure her students will always be receiving consistent riding instruction no matter who they learn from here at RCA.

Dakota will be available for booking from 8AM - 12PM Monday through Friday, taking bookings up to 8 hours in advance.

Ellie grew up riding as a hunter/jumper in Austin, TX, accumulating over 10 years of experience in riding, showing, and horsemanship. She attended the University of Washington as a biology major, where she competed in both hunt seat and western disciplines on UW’s IHSA team. Now back in Austin, Ellie divides her time between her passions for horses and science. As a trainer, she is dedicated to helping her students enhance their riding and horsemanship skills, whether they are riding for relaxation, aiming for competitive success, or anything in between.

Ellie will be available for booking Saturday & Sunday from 8AM-12PM, taking appointments in as little as 8 hours in advance.

It was an honor hosting Dustin Leinenbach to come and teach us more about horsemanship.
