Little girls first time in the pool.
Working a little down stay.
Morning exercise
Working with little Charlie this morning transitioning her from kibble to a toy which will offer her a much better outlet when it comes to her genetic makeup.
Control
Working with little Charlie on down stay today, not too shabby for a 13 week old puppy.
Making sure our crate manners are solid before Charlie goes home at the end of the week.
Getting little girl used to being brushed out which is crucial to keeping a GSDās coat healthy and looking pretty.
Verbal Commands
Worked on using verbal commands with Charlie this afternoon.
Working on hand commands. I realized I was moving to quickly I slowed myself down and she got them perfectly.
Obedience
Testing out where there are holes in her training and seeing where we need to go back and work on a little more. Working on some longer durations in sit and down without using a place board as a marker.
Place
Working on more distance with the place command and also adding distractions towards the end.
Heel
Tapping into some of those natural herding genetics to help unlock some loose leash focused heel.
Distractions
Working on focus and obedience with another dog in the room.
Focus
Some days Romeo and I just dance. šŗš
Crate
Intro to crate was done properly she loves her crate, hardly makes a fuss as long as she canāt see you but like any puppy they want all of your attention even when you canāt give it to them. Charlieās owner works from home so she needs to get used to settling in the crate while life still goes on in the house work calls, getting up to make a sandwich or having guest over. Yesterday I started eating lunch with her in the crate me being in front of her which is the first half of the video, today she already is starting to settle in and figuring out that whining gets her no attention and being quiet and calm in the crate no matter what is what gets her all the good stuff!
First Outing
First little outing to Loweās with Charlie, she did very good considering she has never seen anything like this place before.
Morning feeding
Some meals are simple and boring but it is always some form of working for your meal.
Impulse control
Little girl impressed me tonight! I am throwing her kibble on the ground she gets payed for eye contact and staying on the place board, after the exercise of course she get her ājackpotā which is hoovering the rest of her meal that I was throwing.
Obedience
Working sits and downs.
