Annabelle & Lyla we’re here for a ride yesterday 🐎💕

Durango was so excited to be out and about again 🤩
He had a few months off after he threw his special shoes for his navicular. The farrier had come out right after it happened, but he was sore for a while and we didn’t want to push him until he was ready for some light rides again 🐴💚

🌟 Kobe here for a ride with me today 🐎
He did great ba****ck on Mr. 🧦
I’ve been watching him become more and more well rounded in his general horse knowledge over these past few months 🙌🏼 he is like a sponge 🧽

When Kobe started coming here in July he was having trouble with his mare at home and couldn’t get her to respond to his cues while on her back.
He says his mare is much better now that he’s gained more confidence in his abilities! He now knows how to ask her to do what he’d like her to do confidently and how to properly correct her if she does not respond accordingly
I love watching these horse lovers progress 🐎🤠

Wyatt & Aiyanna here this evening for some lessons 🐴

🌟It was Aiyanna’s first time in the saddle and she was great on Mr. Socks!! She even got some riding time outside of the arena

🌟Wyatt was out on Rusty stopping and turning all by himself today. I love his love for these horses. He says Rusty is his new favorite 🐴🤠

🌟Annabelle had never ridden a horse off by herself and did AMAZING today!! She’s such a fast learner

🌟Lyla had never been up on a horse. I was so impressed with this little girl!! She had amazing balance and listened so well!

These are some real horse loving girls in the making 🐴💖

I haven’t been taking many pictures lately, but we still have had our weekly morning rides going on during this heat wave 🐎❤️

Kobe was here today for a trail ride (his first ever!). He did amazing on Mr. 🧦.
Shawn joined us before heading to work and led on R***r. It was beautiful out this morning 🙌🏼

Kobe did so well on Rusty yesterday!! 🐎💙
He said it was his first time actually getting a horse to move around and respond to him on his own!

We are working on building his confidence and skill level so he can take it all home to apply to his own mare who’s a bit stubborn.

I love our newest auction pull addition to the CTF fam, Rusty 🤩 I’ll never stop raving about this one. 11/10. 🐴❤️🐴

Daisy May & Joy went to their new home today TOGETHER 🥰😁❤️🥺🥲

I was not going to be rehoming Daisy yet, but they are eager to keep them together (as am I) and would love to finish filling them both out.
Daisy & Joy will be so loved by this amazing family with 2 young girls.
The 15 year old in particular will be working a lot with these 2 and spending lots of time with them. She had owned a horse before, but had to rehome him when they moved and has been very upset ever since.
I am so excited for these mares and so emotional about it at the same time.
I truly love Daisy with all my heart, but we can’t keep all 8 horses. I cried like a baby when she left, but I am so happy the girls are going to a great home together!!

These mares will make 5 successful rescue rehomes in the past 4 months ❤️🐴❤️
Unfortunately, we will have to hold off on any more rescues right now. With the cost of everything rising, it is getting more and more difficult to rescue, rehab, & rehome. 💔

I am so impressed with these little horse girls!!!
Tinsley & Temperance have come so far 🥺

Temperance led our ride most of the time today on Durango. She also helped me soak Mr. Socks hoof afterwards (he’s got an abscess).
Tinsley did amazing on Rusty!
They both helped me brush, tack/untack, move some horses around, and hay some of the horses.

Love riding with these girls 🐎❤️

Daisy & Joy are rehab buddies now. They both are still putting on weight together and have turned into great friends. I truly love these mares, but we will most likely be rehoming them once they have put on enough weight. I would keep all of the horses if we could afford to, but we can’t.

They are getting fed soaked alfalfa pellets & beet pulp, senior feed, top line balancer.. all topped off with some rice bran oil.
We’re also working on strengthening Daisy’s hooves with a few different supplements. We need them to grow out a bit more before putting shoes on her 👠

What a fun ride this morning with Tinsley & Temperance!!! The girls did absolutely amazing!
Not only did they ride.. they brushed, tacked up, and gave the horses baths afterwards. They also helped me feed Daisy & Joy their lunch.
They are turning into little cowgirls. I love to see their progress ❤️🐴

Rusty, Durango, Mr. Socks, & R***r all did great.
Today was our first real trail ride with Rusty (our recent auction rescue) and we are in love 🤩 truly may be a keeper here for our lesson program 🐎

We LOVE our hummingbirds 🐦❤️🌸 We have at least 20-30 that hang around here all day taking turns on our feeders. I make their “nectar” myself and it must be pretty good 🥰
