Hi Everyone!
A lot of people are asking me about egg prices. The reason there is a massive increase in price is two fold. Millions of laying hens were culled with an outbreak of avian flu. My flock has thus far be unaffected. Also, the price of feed is much more expensive. I have only a few hens laying right now (but they are great eggers, which means large eggs), but once the days get longer, I will have more eggs. Let me know if you have any questions!

Jellies, pickles, banana bread, salsa and more from my farm to yours

The tangerine tree and lime tree are blooming as are tomatoes and peppers. Lots more to come once we have harvest and surplus…I can’t eat it all!

Right now we have a slow down with eggs (hens lay better with more sunshine hours) , however, my babies will start laying soon! Egg prices have jumped because of feed prices and also the shortage of hens with the avian flu.

My eggs are fresh days and I will try and keep them priced lower than cage free/organic/fresh grocery bought.

Today we said goodbye to Baca. He served with the Florida Highway Patrol for many years. He was a superb officer and best friend. He fought a courageous and honorable battle with cancer over the past 6 months. We thank him for his service and we were honored to know and treat him.
