🚨🐾 Attention Pet Owners! 🐾🚨

Did you know that July 4th is one of the busiest days for animal shelters? Statistics show a significant increase in lost pets around this time due to fireworks and celebrations. Here’s how you can keep your furry friends safe:

Create a Safe Space: Set up a comfortable, quiet area for your pet indoors, away from the noise.

Microchips: Ensure your pet is microchipped so that they can be returned to you as soon as possible.

Secure Your Home: Close windows, doors, and any escape routes. Frightened pets can be very resourceful!

Stay Close: Keep your pets indoors during fireworks, and if possible, stay home with them to provide comfort.

Distract and Calm: Use toys, treats, and calming music to help distract your pet from the noise.

Donation items our raffle table would be GREATLY appreciated and can be dropped off at Saunders Veterinary Services, Inc. or at Just Like Home Pet Hotel. Items such as unopened dog and cat food, toys, bowls, etc for pets and any people friendly items as well.
