Hello everyone! Lunar farms has had a rough year in 2021 and will be ending it season for the year. With a hand surgery and extreme weather this season we are just unable to provide anything of real value this year. We hope to step back and take a look at 2022 and see what direction that my lead us. We have allowed ourselves to take this time to recuperate and analyze our future. At this we have also rehomed our flock of chickens and will no longer have eggs to offer this year. Who knows what 2022 will bring. We will make updates as the year progresses as to our final plans for 2022. Thank you for your understanding and support. We hope 2021 brings you joy and happiness.

Good morning everyone! Wanted to give you an update on Lunar Farms. Currently we are about 50% planted and have more to plant in the weeks to come. With that being said, we start all our flowers from seeds/bulbs. So inherently this process pushes back our opening to mid June. We will have beef steak tomato plants available in the next week and I will be posting and selling on facebook to anyone interested. More to come on that. We also are continuing our dedication to sales from our produce baskets will be 100% donated to local food pantries. We will also be donating produce to these organizations as well. The weather over the last few weeks has definitely put a halt on some seeds going into the ground. Young tender roots of flowers and leaves dont like these cool nights and frost. So we are still excited for the season and will continue to post updated and pics. Have a great day!

We put the finishing touches on the compost bins today and I love the rustic feel they have. They blend in with all of our other buildings. Seedings are doing great and have so many more to plant. Have a great week everyone!

Keeping ourselves and our minds busy by building new compost bins to keep our flowers and veggies full of rich compost. All recycled materials from great neighbors and family friends. So many of our projects are funded through the donation of materials. Always thankful for those who have touched our lives and believe in our vision.

In loving memory of Maximus. He was put to rest today. The best dog anyone could ask for. He was 13. We can not express how much our hearts ache for this loss.
We could never of asked for a better friend and protector. He will never be forgotten. We love you bubaloo!

One of our favorite flowers this year is the Teddy Bear Sunflower. It makes and excellent cut flower and will surely brighten anyone's day with a gift of a beautiful bouquet of these! Look for these in about late June! Another exciting thing coming our way this season. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning and Happy Spring everyone. So many exciting things this year @ Lunar Farms. We have decided this year to set aside a portion of our flower farm for produce that will be donated to local food pantries. Our Hope's is that this will help those who have food insecurities to have access to healthier options. We will also have produce baskets for sale in which 100% of those funds will be donated to help those in need. We hope to have a great season and to show the local community that one small act of kindness can make a great impact on people's lives. Have a beautiful day!

Good Morning ☀️ and Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️ In honor of St. Patrick’s day wanted to give a small preview of a flower we plan on having this year in the garden. The green envy zinnia is new for us so we are excited to watch it grow and see it’s beauty upclose. It’s subtle green color will make a wonderful addition to the many flower arrangements we plan on making this year. 😊

Good Morning 🌞 Everyone!! Spring is only 17 days away 🎉. So I wanted to give everyone a better view of the flowers we plan on having this year at the farm. We will post weekly on each type of flowers so stay tuned.😊 Pictured below ⬇️ we will have the teddy bear sunflowers 🌻, gladiolus, as well as long stem snap dragons. The gladiolus and snap dragon will come in variety of beautiful colors. We are anxiously waiting to get our seeds and bulbs started so everyone can enjoy these beautiful flowers in their homes.🌼 Also our chickens are busy working hard at providing us eggs so we have eggs available for sale at $3 dz or $4 for an 18 count. Good Morning Everyone, today is the start of the Winter Solstice which as you all know is when our days are shortened and the nights are longer. Today is also the start of Yule for many as well which for them stands for the rebirth of the great horned hunter god who is viewed as the newborn solstice sun. So I end our post with A Winter Solstice Blessing
- May you find peace in the promise of this solstice night, that each day forward is blessed with more light. That the cycle of nature, unbroken and true, brings faith to your soul and well-being to you. Rejoice in the darkness, in the silence find rest, and may the days that follow be abundantly blessed.

Good evening everyone we will have the farm stand open tomorrow from 12-5 pm. Here’s a preview of what we will be having. For desserts we will have pumpkin bread, choc. Chip espresso cookies, pumpkin pecan cinn. rolls, and lemon blueberry tea bread. We are having a special on our jams they will be 2-$5. Don’t forget we still have the pumpkin jar candles for $13. We also have farm fresh eggs (assorted size and color) for just $3. Hope to see you here tomorrow. 😊 However tomorrow will be our last day having the farm stand open, but we will still be posting about what we’re are doing.

Good afternoon everyone! Everything on the farm here has slowed and has been prepared for a long winter's rest. Well... all except the farm stand... We will be open this Sunday 12 - 5 and will have many delicious baked goods as well. Fresh bread and rolls will be a hot item this week! We make it that morning and package it up just before we open to make sure it stays as fresh a possible for you. Come on by and enjoy a fresh breads, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and much more! GOOD MORNING AND HAPPY SUNDAY! We will be open 12 to 6 today with yummy baked goods, canned pickles and jellies, and many other items to choose from. We will not have any fresh produce, we pulled our garden plants early due to the lack of water this year. We still have plenty of delicious pickles and presevers made from our garden for you to still enjoy! Hope to see you! Have a great Sunday!
