It's being held in Avon IN on June 29th and 30th and is open for all levels with a focus on intermediate and advance skills and movement in freestyle. Brittany has been to a few of our disc events last year with her border collies Meg and Fien. She is also a member of our "sister IGP club" Controlled Chaos WDC. Not only did she start learning about Updog with her Border Collies but she put in the work with her Malinois in IGP and was invited to go to Italy to be on the FMBB Belgian Malinois World Championship team! Any support you can give would be amazing!

A massive thank you to all the competitors at Supernatural Updog: Saving Dogs, Hunting Plastic, The Family Business and everyone who's joined us at all this year!!

It's been a fun and crazy year of Disc and I'm so appreciative to everyone who has helped it be successful.

Scores for this past weekend are still being worked on as I (Sam) am helping with the AWMA Nationals this weekend, but as soon as I get them finished I'll post the Overall Scoresheet in our private group Clever Girl Disc Dogs . This will list the scores - Overall Winners - AND all personal bests so if you did NOT get tokens for any PBs you recieved, PM me with your address and how many (honor system since you've all been so amazing with my errors while I learn). Remember that 10 PB tokens can be exchanged for a free run so hang on to the tokens!! You do have to physically turn them in.

Invoices will go out shortly after that for any added runs!

🐾 Get ready for a gourd time at Beasley’s Orchard Dog Daze at the Maze event! 🐾

We are thrilled to announce that we'll be performing at this a-maize-ing event on Saturday, October 14th and Sunday, October 15th at 1:00pm. If you have never been to an UpDog event this will be a great opportunity to get a peek at the games and ask questions. We will start by showing how to get your dog started in disc then doing a demonstration of the UpDog games Frizgility, Throw N Go, Time Warp, and Freestyle🎉 So come on out, bring your furry friend, and join us for a day of doggone fun. We hope to see you there!🎃

We are excited to announce that we are now selling t-shirts for a great cause! With two design options available, you can choose between our Supernatural UpDog Event t-shirt/hoodie or our club logo t-shirt/hoodie. Not only will you look cool, but you'll also be supporting our club and the Far Fetched Dog Rescue!

Our goal is to raise $35 for the club to cover an unexpected cost, and donate the rest to the Far Fetched Dog Rescue. The cost is $25 for a t-shirt and $35 for a hoodie.

Disc Tip Tuesday🥏

With our Jurassic event coming up this weekend, we thought it’d be helpful to share our packing checklist.

• Food & Drinks- water, granola bars, sandwiches, and sports drinks are great simple options
• Discs- it’s always a good idea to bring extras
• Canopy Tent (or some form of shade)- if you don’t have one, don’t be afraid to ask fellow competitors if they are willing to share
• Chairs
• Leashes/Collars
• Crates- dogs are expected to be contained in some fashion when not warming up, cooling down, or competing
• Dog Water- we do have a spigot on site, but not all events will have this available
• Diapers (if you have an intact bitch)- just in case
• Fans- don’t forget extra batteries as well
• P**p bags
• Sunscreen
• Shade Cloth (if you have one)
• Dog First Aid Kit- fingers crossed you won’t have to use it, but still important to have

It’s Disc Tip Tuesday!

Let’s talk disc storage🥏
- Avoid storing discs in direct sunlight
- Keep discs in a climate controlled space that won’t get too hot or too cold.
- Store discs along the edge (vertically) and make sure nothing is laying on top
- Affordable storage options include plastic bins/baskets, fabric shoe racks, or pvc shelves (shown in the picture is a freezer bin)

Following these tips will help keep your discs from warping and keep the color from fading, so that you and your dog can enjoy them for longer!
