This week's Winner's Circle Wednesday featured pair is extra special to our team at the USEA ❤️ Join us in congratulating former USEA President Carol Kozlowski for winning her Open Novice division at the Genesee Valley Hunt Horse Trials with Jill McNicol DVM's 7-year-old Connemara stallion Elodon Zodiac (Century Hill's Aedan Zodiac x Caslebar Gaelic) on their very impressive score of 18.3 🥳
"I'm so proud of "Elvis" [as he is known to his friends]," said Carol. "Elvis has gone from strength to strength after moving up to Novice this season, this is his third win in four events. I'm thankful to be short enough to ride him and was grateful for his focus and maturity at GVH. After dealing with a few health issues myself, I appreciated his generosity and willingness to do more than his share at the event, I was pretty much along for the ride! I'm a 'Valley girl,' and I've competed at Genesee Valley Hunt horse trials for nearly 50 years, so this ages me... but I do love this local event!"
