e started with walking, hiking, running, and photography, and now offer Professional Dog Training and Behavioral Services. My Pets:

In 2014, we rescued a Aussie mix named Lexi, from a shelter in CT. After adopting Lexi, I decided that my passion was dogs, I love learning how to communicate and train her, as well as loved getting her outside for hiking or a run. Not only did I enjoy the exercise but I could tell she was acting better and seemed overall happier. In 2016, we rescued another dog, a Doberman Shepherd mix, named Rue. My family and I worked really hard on training her properly and giving her plenty of exercise, as she was a rescue dog that came with behavior issues that stemmed from her critical stages of puppyhood. Early in 2018 we brought home a Border Collie named Murray and are currently training him in agility, bikjoring, canicross, and more! In the beginning of 2022, we brought home two more Border Collies. We knew we wanted a female Border Collie and went and visited Minerva. Drago was Minerva's grandfather. He had recently been attacked by his pack and was up for adoption. We didn't even hesitate for a second and said we will take him home too! Both Minerva and Drago have become a huge part of our family. Minerva is currently training to take over for Lexi, as Lexi is going to be 9 soon and will be ready to retire in a few years. Drago has taken to our daughter Madison, sleeping in her room every night. Madison is currently working on building his confidence with solo walks and training fun. We also have a cat, Bodey! We are passionate about our animals and my clients are our family. We treat your dog as if they are our own. We are proud of what we offer and our services! We love what we do and we love Dogs! We look forward to hearing from you and meeting those fur babies! Thank you,
Bee

Watching puppies graduate from Puppy School I is one of my favorite things!

Congratulations to sweet Juno on passing your AKC STAR Puppy test ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — and to all the other amazing puppies who graduated tonight!

The AKC STAR Puppy program is all about setting young dogs up for success. It recognizes puppies and owners who have built a strong foundation in socialization, training, and responsible ownership. From learning basic manners to developing confidence around people and other dogs, it’s the perfect first step toward a lifetime of good behavior.

WAY TO GO, PUPPIES! 🎉🐾

We hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween tomorrow 🎃🎃🎃

Dogs play by chewing on each other’s faces because it’s a normal part of social play and communication. It might look rough, but it’s usually harmless fun!

Face-biting, mouthing, and gentle nipping help dogs practice bite inhibition, build social skills, and strengthen bonds. It’s their version of wrestling or tag.

You’ll know it’s all play if both dogs take turns, have relaxed body language, open mouths, wagging tails, and bouncy movements. If one dog stiffens up, growls deeply, or tries to get away, that’s when it’s time to step in and give them a break.

Always playing the Name Game, always successful, always strengthening my bond with my dog.

10/15/2025

Hide and seek is my favorite game to play in the woods when we head out for an adventure, and here’s how to play!!!

Hide and Seek is one of the best off-leash games 🐾🌲

1️⃣ While your dog is distracted sniffing or exploring, quietly hide behind a tree or bush.
2️⃣ Wait for them to wander off or get distracted, then call their name.
3️⃣ When they find you, celebrate! Praise, play, or treat. 🎉
4️⃣ Repeat in different spots to build focus and engagement.

This game builds recall, strengthens your bond, and keeps your dog checking in while making off-leash time fun and safe. ❤️

When you reward check-ins while your dog is on leash, you’re teaching them that looking back at you pays off. That habit carries over when they’re off leash … they naturally want to stay connected, even with freedom to explore. It builds trust, reliability, and communication without needing to call them every time.

👉 Consistent reinforcement on leash = automatic check-ins off leash.

So PAY THOSE CHECK-INS!!!!

Ever wonder why we play the Name Game? 🐾

It’s not just about teaching your dog to “hear” their name … it’s about teaching them to love it and RESPOND 💛

When your dog’s name means “look at my human, something good is coming!” you build focus, trust, and connection. Even off leash, even in distractions like this. 🌲

The Name Game helps dogs:
✨ Build strong name recognition
✨ Stay focused and check in around distractions
✨ Strengthen recall foundations
✨ Gain confidence through success

A dog who loves hearing their name will always want to tune in. 👀💛
