Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

Don't forget your pets monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks all can carry dangerous diseases for your pets. Yes our creepy crawly friends are all out and active! Ivy has a bug phobia like her mom and wears a seresto collar and takes interceptor plus and credelio to ensure she is well protected.

This is why we recommend testing your pet for heartworm disease and year round heartworm prevention. These happy wiggly microfilaria were found in a blood sample of a patient today. While they look cool wiggling under the microscope, they actually can be slurped up by a mosquito and transmitted to your dog. 😟 Heartworm disease can be fatal and it only takes one bite from an infected mosquito.
