Let’s kick off our last fundraiser of the year!

12 Days of Christmas raffle!!
A one time $50 entry fee will get you entered for ALL 12 prizes over the next 12 days (sorry, no single entries available). $100 would get you entered TWICE for all 12 days, and so forth…

The first raffle goes off Friday evening at 7pm and then same time every night and the last one will be Christmas night! There is something for every so you can regift it and not be judged.😂

Yesterday was a huge day for Charlie and an emotional day for our rescue team. After two and a half years of waiting, she is finally in her forever home! ❤️

Charlie came to us in June 2022 after being found running locally as a stray with another dog named Darla. Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue took them in, not knowing that they were both pregnant and would deliver 10 babies each within days of each other. All of Charlie’s puppies were adopted and so was her friend Darla, but 916 days later she is finally with the best family! Maggie and her family lost their 1st Lucky Dawg named Peanut several months ago, had a void they needed to fill, and fell in love with our girl. 🫶🏼

This is a heartwarming reminder that patience, love and kindness can make a big difference in the life of a rescue animal. Many of our volunteers came out today to say goodbye and there were happy tears shed. We received our holiday wish this year🎄.

We say this all of the time, but we know we are the lucky ones to be able to help our rescue dogs and cats find their forever homes….no matter how long it takes. ❤️

German Shepherd Riggs is looking for a home. He was no longer wanted after his owners split and this good boy is at our kennel. He is dog friendly, timid at 1st but warms up quickly, very smart, walks good on a leash, and needs a new family that will not let him down.

Ace was found abandoned in an apartment after his owners moved out and left him behind. This good boy is around 3 years old, dog friendly, neutered, vaccinated, and would love an actually forever home.

Shouting out our friend on the grand opening of her NEW STUDIO this weekend! 🎉

Carol’s studio will not only be for pet photography, but doggy birthday parties, dog yoga classes, and tons of other themed events! Come visit her new studio on Sunday, 9/29 in Media! The grand opening will be a fundraiser for The Spayed Club, who works closely with Lucky Dawg to get cats adopted! 💚

We feel like we just hit the lottery with the great news we got after Josie’s oncology appointment. Josie is our puppy mill Bernese mama who had her leg amputated due to cancer. 🐾☘️ Josie’s appt and treatment went great! She had the spot on her lung that has been there from the original chest X-ray and was also there when they did the repeat chest X-ray 3 weeks ago. Instead of delaying her initial chemo treatment, we decided to try another antibiotic and repeat the X-ray today. This would tell us if the spot on her lung was some sort of residual infection or help confirm that it is in fact metastasis and the cancer spread. So the oncologist came out after doing her chest X-ray today and the spot is completely GONE!!!! So the cancer has not spread to her lungs and it was some sort of residual illness that the most recent antibiotic cleared. All of the LDAR volunteers needed this, and most importantly, Josie deserved and needed this win! ☘️🐾

Meet Bentley (black/white) and Ace (white)!

Bentley and Ace just joined us yesterday and are the cutest boys! They’re about 3.5 months old, approximately 20-25 lbs currently, and listed as Australian shepherd mixes (maybe some border collie?).
