Hello everyone, all grooming prices will be raised $2.00 per dog affective immediately. Unfortunately cost of supplies ... are continually rising 😱 ! Which means I unfortunately have to raise prices too. I hope you all can understand! I would rather do little price increases yearly instead of large price increases randomly. As always I will continue providing you the professional / private grooming experience you and all your pets are accustomed too!

Toady I got the notice that Miss Jewles passed away last night. She was a client of mine long before American paws was even open. I will definitely miss her gentle loving personality and her huge hugs she would give me every time I seen her. She would come in the shop, make herself comfortable just like she owned the place lol. It's always so hard to loose a pet . And this past year the shop has lost too many really awesome pups that I had the pleasure of grooming for such a long time. I truly love all my pup clients and it hurts everytime one passes away! But I'm so blessed to have know them all while I did!

This is Brady, he is 3 months . So today was his introduction to grooming. He made me laugh so much cause he feel asleep on my table. He was super comfortable just having nice little nap while I worked on him🤣🤣 it was soo nice meeting him . Just love him ❤️

ATTENTION IMPORTANT INFORMATION for my clients. I will be having hernia repair surgery on July 12th . The shop will be closed possibly till Aug 23rd. I may be able to take small dogs only a week or so prior to the 23rd of August . But I will not know till closer to that time. I recommend everyone giving me a call asap to get your appointments prior to July 12th. I will mostly likely be throwing a few extra days on my schedule to accommodate. May is pretty much full but June I do have openings. If you can't get in with me prior I do have a groomer and friend of mine I'm referring clients too. Thank you.

Brushing educational video: Few notes : If you decide to wash your longer hair pup at home in between groomings, use a hair dryer on a COOL setting or warm but be very cautious ⚠️ You need to keep it off the skin, not staying in one place too long. Probably at least 6 inches away from skin. You can DEFINITELY burn your dogs skin with an average hair dryer if too hot or to close!!! Wanted to correct myself in the video. Why I usually don't recommend hair dryers at home . Can go badly quickly! Hard knots NEVER should be bathed. The water will get trapped and not dry , causing knots to become solid and can lead to hot spots or skin infections! Also if your reach a harder knot hold the hair in your fingers at the base of the skin and then try brushing. So it's more comfortable for the pup. If it's not breaking up then STOP! Let the professionals handle it! Also be kind to your pup if they are getting impatient break it down to smaller brush increments.
