Almost forgot to post pictures from our Christmas Party 🎄🎅🏼 SO impressed with the stall decorating contest. It was so fun to celebrate the end of a great year with everyone 🥰 I have the best barn group and can’t wait to see where 2025 takes us!!

JUST DO IT ✔️ was our motto for the weekend.. And yes they did! Taylor & Charlotte had some incredible AHA moments in the show ring. Kate & Annie conquered this venue and made huge steps forward. And Hannah & Buoy stepped up to the 2’6” for the first time and blew me away! Winning the hack both days, getting the strides, and making huge progress with lead changes. The highlight of the weekend was all 3 taking on the MAP Equitation class and they all looked great. Even got our jumper girl Taylor in some tan pants and a hairnet 🤪

What a great first outing of the 2025 season. Can’t wait for the next one!

I haven’t even made my IEA team instagram official yet! Team TPE has had a great year so far.. Both the middle school & high school teams have competed in 3 shows so far and each time we have gotten better and better. Last weekend on Sunday my high school team was Reserve Champion and the middle school team was 3rd place! Our region is pretty competitive and to have a smaller 1st year team doing so well has been such a fun experience 🤩 Big congrats to Quinn & Hannah O who have already qualified for regionals!

Team TPE showed up strong to the last Sea Island show of the year! Great riding and horses on their best behavior plus a huge cheering squad made for a great day! We had riders showing for the first time (above Leadline), getting back in the ring after some time off, rebuilding confidence, and even just some fun point chasing! Thanks SISS for providing the perfect environment for all of it 🐎

Finally getting around to posting more pics from Tryon! I am still SO proud of this crew. For many of them it was the biggest show and biggest classes they have shown in. Each ribbon was EARNED and a true testament of all their hard work. I loved the mixture of competing in these big serious classes then unwinding by decorating the stalls or watching a night derby laughing together. So many great memories made 💖

So proud of these horses and girls last weekend in Aiken! Everybody rode very demure, very mindful 🤩

It paid off with some great ribbons and a little homework to prep for our next show.. Tryon in less than 2 weeks! 🐎

We survived the heat and enjoyed our weekend at Stableview! I have been eyeing this venue for a while now so I’m glad we got to change things up! The footing was great and the amenities were 👌🏼. The heat was rough but not much you can do about that in the middle of the summer.. Saturday was a pretty good day for both horses but on Sunday Kate & Annie laid down some of their best trips and Korban was clear in the 1.05m and jumped like a freak 🤩 Proud of them both!

Late post!! A couple weekends ago we took a little group of ottbs to the New Vocations Thoroughbred Charity Show. Korban stole the show winning every class I entered him in 💙 clear all weekend including being the only double clear in the Jumper Stake. We also decided to go rouge and enter some dressage classes and he blew me away!

🔸Scout and Huck had some of their best trips to date on Saturday walking away as Reserve Champions of the 2’6”.
🔸Quinn and Kiwi tackled the hunter ring on Saturday which Kiwi was a little confused about but Quinn rode great. They also laid down a lovely Eq trip on Sunday.
🔸Ava and Kiwi did the combined test on Friday and came in 5th.

This show was super fun with lots of attention to detail like the exhibitor swag bags and party, great ribbons and prizes, and everybody was so friendly and encouraging!

I will always love a good thoroughbred 🐎

I want to give a quick shout out to Holland as she leaves us today for her next chapter. She has been a part of the team pretty much from the beginning and has been essential in helping me grow, stay organized, and caring for all the horses like your own. We will all miss you! 🐎

Another great Sea Island Show in the books!

We got lucky that every single person got to show before the heavy rain and storm caused the show to end early.

We had riders in the Derby, Jumpers, walk/trot, poles, then walk/trot/canter.

So many great moments during this show both in and out of the ring. Watching all my riders operate like a little family cheering each other on, tacking up each other’s horses, tag teaming bath time, etc is really a highlight. There were so many laughs and smiles even despite the gross weather.

Just a couple special shoutouts to..
“Little Hannah” who competed in her very first horse show on sweet Ginger 🧡

Also for Hannah and Buoy to get back in the show ring was a special moment for sure. So proud of Hannah’s commitment to this pony and I know it’s only up from here 🦄

As always I am grateful that we have this great local schooling show to gain valuable experience in the show ring with such a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks Sea Island Show Series!

Small but mighty jumper crew at the Mother’s Day PSJ show 💪🏼

Timory & Kilian SC were Champion of the .75m and even stepped up into a .80m class! Kilian had no rails all weekend and was on fire!

Shannon & CRF Camila tackled the .80m division finishing with Reserve Champion. So proud of how well Shannon rode when Cam was looking to her for some confidence!

Horses love to keep us on our toes and each day we get a chance to figure them out and train them is a privilege 🤎

Also special shoutout to all the MOMS! Happy Mothers Day 💐

Took a little trip to Tryon for the Horse & Hound horse show 🐴🐶 Everyone walked out a Champion so I’d call that a success!

Ginger & Hannah and Annie & Kate got all dressed up for the Derby on Saturday and they all looked like a million bucks braided and the girls wearing their new shadbellies. Look good = feel good = ride good 😏

KM and Midnight had another great show with great riding, great ribbons, some moments of learning, and lots of exciting goal setting!

And of course Korban and I had a blast rocking around the jumper ring again. I love this horse 🔥
