Fetch, treat hunts, basking in the sun, and belly rubs were just a few things accomplished today! Boarding done right!
I don’t always feed your dogs out of a bowl 😉 PVC pipe with end caps and holes drilled in them are a cheap and fun way to feed your dog. These two spent a good 20 minutes making sure they found the last crumb. I betcha they take a nap afterwards!
Enrichment
On the hunt for treats! Let those puppies sniff - it releases dopamine and makes them relaxed and happy! Dog boarding the right way!

Inside the kennel
Letting customers inside the kennel - that is an issue lots of dog boarders discuss. This is what it usually sounds like when I go into the kennels. This video is first thing in the morning when the dogs should be really excited (it was even raining and I had a hooded jacket on and the dogs are still calm). In the comments I’ll post another video of the same dogs when a new person comes inside the kennels. Big difference! Sometimes when a boarder doesn’t allow you inside the kennel it’s not because we are trying to hide anything. We don’t want you to have the impression the dogs are continuously that noisy, we may have a reactive dog to keep safe, and we want your incoming dog to arrive into a calm environment.
