So I have been slacking the past 2 months sick for a month and it got hot. We have trained a few easy things. But haven’t done much marking. So today I decided to train since it was cooler here. Both dogs were eager to do some retrieves. They both did very well. We did everything as a single. 3-5 marks and Maui did 3 blinds. All around 100 yards.

1 man limit. Both dogs put in work today! Maui had a 200 yard retrieve at first shooting light. He saw the splash went for it and it ran on him. Laiya had a few retrieves. She got her first crippled. It was diving on both of them. She came up with the bird! Don’t feel bad Maui got the other one that was in floating in the water.

Had a blast on a hunting trip with the pups and friends. Ducks in Texas and Oklahoma. Pheasant in Kansas. The dogs made a bunch of retrieves over the past week.
