Getting in the trailer was the easy part!
We love seeing our adopted horses thrive in their new homes. For those who knew Penny while she was at the rescue, look at how much she has grown!
Kids horse, anyone? 🦄
Sandy is back up for adoption after her owner needed to move across the country to be with family. She is as sweet and quiet as they come and has been ridden out by herself in just a rope halter. She is in her early 20's and does require special feeding due to being a cribber in the past. But this mare is in excellent shape and would be perfect to help a youngster build confidence in the saddle.
Ranger's first leading lesson. Such a confident colt! ⭐
🍁Happy Thanksgiving!🍁
Enjoy good food and good friends!🥂
Miss Dusti is really improving her focus and becoming a nice riding horse!
Rita hasn't had much chance to stretch her legs since she arrived at FCER.
Today, after a good trim and some catching practice, she got to show us her moves!
Rescued this little one out in beclabito
Tiffany scratches a serious itch!
Tiffany, our American Cream Draft Horse mare, found that new nets of hay were good for more than one thing!
Look who came home from the vets today! First thing Baby did was get down and roll in the dirt. We still have meds and she is still skinny, but she's gonna make it
Little Girl enjoys a good dust bath. She's been at Animal Haven for the past week. Took her in when she got depressed. No oeating or drinking. She has slowly improved. Better , but still not normal. We decided to see if going home would help. Fingers crossed. She will be 32 this Wednesday.
Bambi plays with the feed bucket. She's got a good mind and available for adoption!
Our little Nova is doing better today. Not yet ready to come home though.
The work continues. This shelter is save able. Now to anchor it.
