Well…when your good friend and repeat customer calls after Maverick was born and says, I know you will sell either him or his full sister Dakota, and wants first dibs on either, you say ok! 😳😜💖But it hasn’t been an easy decision. So our big yearling Ms Dakota went to her new wonderful home today. She will be an amazing all-around horse with the sweetest disposition and love every minute of it. Maverick follows me all the time so it’s hard to get pics! But then he was distracted by our dog and cows…I hope he has more focus when he gets older! 😳😜But you can see his roan really coming along and the little girls as well! Miss Dakota… she is really growing up nicely. Yes I need better pics- soon…😜 At just over a year old she is 14.1 and string tests to 15.2 hands. She has a ton of bone and substance as well. She is sweet, smart, and so athletic. She is a beautiful dappled buckskin color with roan to top it off! Love this girl!💖

Just a quick cell phone pic this morning…💥Dakota💥aka Roanys Dritfin Pine is now a yearling and is maturing and filling out so nicely. She’s 14 hands now and strings to 15.2. She’s finally shedding her winter hair and is going to be a gorgeous buckskin roan. She’s the whole package, super athletic, and great minded. Love this filly!💖🦄

I was finally able to take Ms Pokis filly out for a run! She is doing amazing!💖 Ms Poki is a great and attentive mamma so it’s been tough to get video. She is calming down now and getting into our routine. We will get her bred to Roany in the next few days!🦄🦄💖🎉

Then if Cowgirl EVER foals (she’s at 342) we will get her bred back along with the new girl Ms Pokie who is at day 326 but looks to be progressing the same as Cowgirl. Here’s our new addition to the mare herd! Ms Pokey aka Smokenpocowood. She is a bay dun roan. She goes back to Driftwood through Wilywood, Mr Gunsmoke, Poco Bueno and some old school run on her bottom side. She is one of our geldings (Smokey) dam and has had 11 foals by a few different studs with all being amazing performance, using, roping, and rodeo horses. We are excited to get her bred to Roany after she foals. 🎉💖🦄

Mare pasture check…yearling Dakota is growing like a w**d! Cowgirl is getting huge! She’s ”due” April 2nd (340 days) but she took a whole 365 days to have Dakota so…🙃💖 it could take until the end of April to see her new foal. And Mocha (the freeloader 😜💖) will get checked and bred soon!
