I have 1 stall coming available for a consignment horse, young horse program horse or show team member.

We have several talented juniors who would do a fabulous job helping to put junior miles on your sales horse. Do you have a quiet jumper you know would be more valuable if converted into a proven Eq horse? Or a sensible but green or unproven hunter who you know would double in value after a few shows in the children's or juniors? We can put a program together to make this all happen for you.

ISO Three part time working students.

4-5 half days a week. Tacking, grooming, some turnout, setting jumps, cleaning tack. This is not a riding job, but for advanced riders, there is a lot of opportunity for saddle time and possibly showing.

We have had a working student program for decades. Most of our graduates are working in the industry using valuable knowledge they gained here. Several of them are successful USHJA professionals, barn owners, veterinarians, breeding managers and much more.

We also have live in-full time opportunities and welcome international students! Located in Durham County, NC, just north of Duke University.

As we close in on the date to announce our new indoor and Young Horse Training center, which we are VERY excited about, I'm considering hosting a winter series of young horse clinics and even a little Young Horse Show.

Preliminarily, I'd like to gauge what kind of interest we'd have. Winter is hard for young horses, but we understand that!

I have a couple lovely Alpine daughters who have been wonderful in my program for years. They have been leased, used in lessons, both have good records at the A's and are both currently 14 years old, approx 16h.

I do not currently have either of them leased in our program. If that doesn't change quickly, I would do an off site lease to an approved program or possibly sell them. They have been turned out together forever and get along great. So, if one program could use both of them, I'd do a discount on the 2nd one.

To borrow, I'd limit them at 2'6", but to keep, they're both very capable of doing the 3'. Both in the low to mid 5's starting with a 3 to borrow. Mid 5's to keep.

We are hosting our foal inspection in 2 weeks and one of my guys is injured. He was supposed to be cleared by now, so I anticipated we would be fine. But, we're in a bit of a jam.

If any of my former intern grads would like to help us get ready for inspection and participate in the day, we'd love to have you back! I can feed you, house you, pay you... Just reach out. :)

We are also ISO temporary barn help, cleaning, stalls, grooming, w**d whacking... to get things ready, and also to assist through staff vacations through mid-Sept.

ISO competent person to help catalog the horses on the farm in September. You needed to have 4H Showmanship, experience showing in Hunter Breeding classes, or something similar in your background to understand how to stand up a horse properly. I would like to keep up with a current catalog of all the young horses on the farm. So, this could be a repeat thing.
If you're a decent photographer, that would be helpful too.
This will be approximately 30 hours of work.

As we are transitioning to doing client horses only (plus me breeding and keeping just a couple for myself), I will be offering a few "keepers" in addition to the ones that are already for sale. Stay tuned for the special group... they're all COMING SOON!
