Pet's Companion Inn would like to add a team member to our staff. If you are comfortable around dogs and cats and enjoy getting to know them and care for them this might be a perfect fit for you or someone you know. Feeding, bathing and walking dogs are some of the chores as well as daily cat care. Do you enjoy talking with pet owners in person and on the phone? Learning our software for taking reservations and checking pets in and out is required. Thanks to those who have emailed pictures of their pets for us to use as their personal ID in our new software . They are worlds better than the quick pics we take upon arrival. if you haven’t yet sent a pic we hope you will. And, thanks for your patience while we get this software squared away for our needs. We ❤️ our pet parents.

We are finally switching to new kennel software. After 20+ years with our original software it’s time to upgrade as things begin to degrade and the old software company is no longer in business. Needless to say it won’t be easy but we ask for your patience as we migrate all of our files as we learn how to move forward. If you recall we take pictures of every pet as they enter into our system. If you have a picture of your pet that you feel really says “this is me!” please feel free to share it with us and we’ll upload it to your pet’s file as his/her ID. Thanks so much for your help and your patience as we make this change.

WE ARE HIRING! To all my local friends, Pet's Companion Inn is looking for a new team member to help us care for our clients' furry and feathered family members! If you are patient and comfortable with animals (and their people) and are looking for part time or full time work near northern Durham, this could be a great fit for you or someone you know. Our work can be physically demanding, as we feed, bathe, exercise, and clean up after pets.
