Many of you may know that since December, Hardy has been off living with our friends the Griesbaums to be a junior competition dog for Laurel. These two have been absolutely killing it lately in the ring, they are becoming such a great team! It brings me so much joy to see him flourishing in this partnership ❤️

Last weekend they brought home 2x BJH, 2xBOBOH, 1 BOB, 2x OHG1, 1 regular group 2, an OHRBIS and an OHBIS!

I couldn't be more proud.

Firefly and Zenyatta attended the CPA agility trial this weekend. It was Zenni's first trial in the excellent classes and some green dog mistakes kept her out of the ribbons but she ended strong with a nice jumpers run today.

Firefly was stellar, qualifying in 5/6 runs, finishing her Excellent Standard title, and picking up her first QQ towards her MACH!

I'm super proud of both girls and can't wait to play with them again soon!

Aiko is from the 2022 Kimber x KC breeding and has been shown and finished exclusively by Kristina Lengel from the Bred By Exhibitor class. We are so proud of Kristina and Aiko!

Last weekend at the Moore County Kennel Club agility trial, Zenyatta received her first excellent FAST Q and finished her Open Standard title! She now joins Firefly in the masters/excellent classes (which will make my schedule at trials busier but much shorter!). Good job Zenni!

Sweetpea Springers had a fine showing at the ESSFTA National Specialty at Purina Farms last week!

We brought 9 of the crew along with us and they all showed great!

Zenyatta and Firefly did agility on Monday and Tuesday, Firefly got a T2B and Masters JWW Q and Zenni an open JWW to finish her OAJ and an open standard Q.

The puppies all showed in Sweepstakes on Wednesday, Pixel earning a 4th in a huge 6-9mo puppy class.

Thursday the boys showed ans Dutch received a 2nd in a huge 6-9 class and Rhys a 4th in the bred by puppy. Firefly was shown Thursday night in her 3rd consecutive Top 20 event where she qualified both in regular and owner handled categories.

Friday was the girls' turn, Pixel going 4th in the 6-9 class and Asta 4th in American Bred. Friday evening Hardy was shown in PeeWee by his favorite kiddo Harper.

On Saturday, Zenyatta and Laurel were awarded best Junior Handler in stiff competition! Then Firefly, Zenyatta, and Hardy moved on to breed where Firefly made it through 2 cuts of girls.

We could not be more proud of these dogs and everything they did. Now we look forward to next year!

The Love Triangle is 2.5 weeks old and they are thriving. They all weigh over 3 pounds and have eyes mostly open! The next 3.5 weeks are my favorite time of puppy raising, I can't wait to watch them experience things for the first time!

Sometimes we get asked if our dogs ever do sports. I realized that I've been neglectful in posting about the things we do outside the conformation ring! Here's a little clip of Firefly practicing for our upcoming agility trial! She has her novice titles and we are working on open now!
