Now offering nose jobs!

Many dogs with short snouts (called “brachycephalic breeds”) have noses that are too tight and make it difficult to breathe through (stenotic nostrils). Additionally, the squished faces adds an extra flap of tissue in the back of the mouth that causes the snoring and grunting that so many bulldog and shih tzu owners know all too well (an elongated soft palate).

Dogs with these anatomical variations often suffer from difficulty breathing and playing, may get overheated easily, have snoring, may be prone to choking or vomiting, and many other things that decrease their quality of life.

We can give them that quality back with two simple surgeries - one to fix the nostrils, and one to shorten the soft palate in the mouth. These can be stand-alone procedures, or can be done at the same time as a spay/neuter. If you are interested in helping your buddy breathe better, call us today!

Looking for a new loving home for a sweet older dog!

This is Princess - her elderly owner has not been able to keep her any longer and she has been staying at our office for multiple months now. She is looking for a Christmas miracle - a new home for the holidays!

Princess is 17 years old and an 11 pound yorkie mix. She is spayed and has a few senior dog changes (cloudy eyes, some creaky joints, dirty teeth), but her heart and appetite are healthy and she does not take any daily medicine. She will need regular grooming to keep her coat healthy.

She gets along well with cats and other calm dogs - if she even notices them! She is gentle and sweet and just needs a comfortable home to live out the rest of her life. In these photos, she carried around that Milkbone for 10 minutes before eating it! So precious!!
