Want to find fresh mushrooms???

Here is where the refrigerator will be stocked!

The Shimmering Void Zen Center has been hosting meditation for over 15 years.
Every Sunday

Now they will have fresh gourmet mushroom in stock in the refrigerator out front. Our first crops come in next week and we will be completely filled with mushrooms.

Today I took a small batch over and walk you all through how to get to the freshest and most affordable mushrooms in town.

Also the center has refreshments available (asking $1 for each soda please, there is a cute little tin can next to the refrigerator for that)

We are having an impromptu workshop on how to lay Petri dishes. And take live tissue cultures too. This is a great beginner workshop and will be at a discount rate.

Is your best opportunity to jump in on our beginner mushroom course.

Our community planting events are the best way to get your questions answered and get hands on experience with mushroom farming

These events are tailored for you to get hands on training and allow you to get resources for your mushroom journey.

Aside from our program information with our vocabulary list and procedures, this class allows you to download a FREE book to learn to grow your own mushrooms.
This book is a great way to learn more after you get home with the ability to search questions you might have, other ground techniques and key words/phrases.

Don’t miss our next community planting event.

Each one is a unique opportunity to learn, ask questions and share what you have with all of us.

Take some time, sign up and get started before spring comes in too hot 🥵.

And remember mushrooms like to grow together so jumping in on a class you already took is a great way to keep your crops fresh and moving along for another harvest

Our Volunteers get first hand experience at a mushroom farm and the opportunity to attend a class for free after help us for a few hours around the farm.
