Pleade take note that we are not always able to have a picture by the time these are uploaded or the picture may not be of good quality and the best thing to do is come in to view the dogs in the kennels up close to identify your lost pet.

Here are just some of the dogs available for adoption that have been highlighted by the students from ROC CTEC. Thankfully they’re getting taken out for some time outside of the kennel and interacting with them, it’s great enrichment for the dogs.

The following dogs were brought into the shelter 2/9 through 2/11. If you have lost a pet or had one taken from you, please come in to walk the kennels and identify your dog so that we can work with you on the process of getting your dog returned to you. We’re open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am to 4pm with adoptions closing at 3:30.

UPDATE: Foster Found!!!🙌
We need a FOSTER ASAP 🙏🏻 Hugo recently had one of his legs amputated and it would be ideal if he could go to a foster home until he leaves on transport to Canada Feb. 22nd.

Please come in TODAY if you can foster him for this short time instead of him being in the crowded medical room kennel. An experienced foster is preferred but if you think you could also be open to learning what amount of care this takes please reach out to discuss further.

Pistachio is a strikingly good boy. Volunteers say his best qualities include: sit, down, and extremely gentle, walks well on leash, great eye contact, very playful cause he chases the ball and brings it back. He has a calm and balanced temperament and does well with other dogs.

He waits respectfully for a treat and doesn’t jump. He would make a wonderful companion as he is so well mannered. Come save Pistachio before it’s too late.

Bruno is our with Studio 17 Live He is such a calm puppy at only 6 months. We think he is a Basenji mix. He is a bit playful but mostly likes to hangout and be pet. He doesn’t stay still in your arms but is already a natural on a leash.

He has a kennel mate so is good with other doggies and would love to get to go back in the car that leads him to his forever home. He stayed looking out the window or laying down in the passenger seat.

Bruno, neutered and ready to go directly home if adopted. Up to date on vaccines and microchipped, Animal ID A157540, 19 lbs.

Everybody had fun yesterday, especially the puppies 🐶 We appreciate everyone that came out to play, watch or adopt one of the puppies. We’re super overcrowded but super happy to share these up close pictures of some of the puppies still available for adoption. ADOPTION FEES ARE WAIVED FOR PUPPIES. They will be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered before you can take them home. We hope you’ll come in next week for first pick when we open on Tuesday. Adoption fees are waived tomorrow, Friday 1/3 and Saturday 1/4. Walk through the shelter kennels of the small and medium dogs. This video is just under 5 minutes and you can see one side, which is half of the dogs in our A kennel. These dogs need out now, some are already spayed or neutered and some have only been here a long time cause there are so many dogs housed here at the shelter.
