Julie is a great instructor. I have had the privlage to ride in some clinics with her. Everyone can learn something that will help them improve their trailer loading.

TRALERING UNDER FIRE!
Friday,July 26th, 9am - 12pm

Event by Julie Renfro
Bear Valley Springs Equestrian Center
Duration: 3 hr
Friends · Julie Renfro's friends on Facebook
This is for all horses and horse owners, even for your "Tony the Pony" and "Steady Eddy".
The term 'Under fire" origin. This term had been used since the 1700's, a range of enemy fire, sparks emitted from the barrels of enemy guns hence "fire". Not to mention the fire season that is here!
This course is directed at understanding how horses view the trailer (yours or any trailer) We will approach building confidence in the horse and owner by using obstacles that mimic a tight place over, under and sides, understanding blind spots.
For the final, we'll have t least 5 trailers, (privately owned) in the arena where .... In order to pass, the horse owner loads his or her horse into ALL the trailers with a time restraint adding to the mix.
I've seen situations where a horse ('s) have to load into a strangers trailer on the side of a highway/parking lots/Injured horses etc. Not to mention an evacuation scenario.
Cost is $100.00 for the 3 hr session.
Pre Registration is required. Due July 23, 2024
Limited to 8 participants /auditing is available for $35
Contact Julie Renfro [email protected] 707-483-1800 for registration See less

FYI: The River Hollow trail is open … for water training. The east entrance is flooded about 6” deep. The west half is flooded up to about 2 ft of gently flowing water. (See videos). It is slightly overgrown right now but is a fun trail if you like doing water!
