UPDATE 2/24/24: Daisy sighting at Frontier Farm Credit near 56 & 59 Hwy about 7:00am! She was headed south into a field. Please notify Susan if you see Daisy! 785-248-9029
Update 8:30amโฆ Susan went out to the site and didnโt initially see Daisy, but after walking around for awhile and sprinkling cat food (as advised by trapper groups working with her), Susan got back in her car and drove south. Susan thought she saw a deer, but then realized it was Daisy!! Susan lowered the car window and said her name, Daisy turned and looked, but then ran into the underbrush, and was gone.
We are very close!! This incident demonstrates how frightened Daisy still is. It is common for lost dogs to be scared and hesitant to come, even to their owners, whom they love. So please remember not to chase Daisy or even call her name, but contact Susan right away, so she can implement the strategies given to her by dog tracker/trapper groups, as she did this morning.
ADDITIONAL UPDATE 2/20/24: Daisy was spotted this evening about 6:30pm at 1017 N 635 Rd, near the Willow Springs Fire Station, in the rural Worden & South Lawrence areas. Call Susan at 785-248-9029 if you see Daisy. Share with Worden and South Lawrence friends!
Update 2/20/23: Daisy was seen this morning about 5:00am near the Intermediate Center, then she was followed east to the Subway strip mall area, but eluded her followers again! So sheโs in town! Keep your eyes peeled, and call Susan if you see her! 785-248-9029
