WE’RE STILL ON THE HUNT FOR A NEW TEAM MEMBER!

Unalome Dressage and Church Hill Farm are looking to add a full-time stable hand and Groom. We are looking for an organized, self-starter with an affinity for high attention to detail to help oversee our 19-horse operation. Duties to include all aspects of stable management and high-performance grooming. Our horses are well-mannered but do include young Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds, so basic handling and horse management skills are required. Knowledge of basic veterinary skills and trailering skills preferred but not required. Candidate must be able to work within the US without sponsorship and must have reliable transportation. Unalome Dressage kicked off our 2024 show season with a trip to the Maryland Dressage Association, Inc.’s April show. Jess was first down centerline on Laurie Reed Castriota’s super talented gelding Nicodemus (Florette x Sandro Hit x Jazz). While Nico was pressure sure the letter R was out to get him he put in a very respectable first level test for a 72%. Next up was Tina Lortz with her lovely mare Nevada CL who made their third level debut with at 70%. Rounding out the day was our newest dressage convert (welcome to the dark side Liza Deitz Barill) who navigated her first dressage show on a very electric St. Valentine. Liza did an excellent job navigating Val’s emotions and laid down a very solid first level test. Thank you to all the volunteers who make these shows possible. Thank you as well to our wonderful sponsors (The Distinguished Rider,Hulsebos Saddles, NW Custom Browbands - Beaded Browbands and Dog Collars, Bascule Bonnets, and Hallway Feeds) you guys make sure we all look wonderful in public!
