This weather y’all!!!

I’m so sorry about lessons lately. Our arena has not been able to withstand this rain! Between the humidity and the rain, it hasn’t been able to dry out like it should!! Praying for some dry days ahead so we can see all of your beautiful faces again soon!!! Rain rain, go away!!! Hope to see y’all tomorrow and Friday 🤞🏻, and I believe I will stack some lessons up on Monday, December 23 to get some makeups in!!! I will keep y’all posted!

Love this!! This sport of barrel racing seems SO simple, but we all know it’s not! Yet, we keep on going, facing every challenge and failure head on as we keep chasing those three barrels!

The barrel. Let me tell you about “the barrel’. 🫣 It seems so simple - just go around it. But that dang barrel represents our idea of failure or success. That barrel is a puzzle, a different language, or an impossible riddle. That barrel is always the same size and shape, yet there are countless ways to get around it 🤔 You get it just right, you may win the race, if you get it wrong, you may crush your leg. Do you practice perfect and be prepared and trust your process? Do you pray? Do you curse? Do you just figure it out as you are going? 🙏 Do you seek help? Do you keep your eyes up and look where you are going or do you look down at the ground? 🤪 Ugh, the barrel. Some folks are confident and reactive, some folks are timid and insecure. Some love the fast pace, some are scared of it. ⏰ “The barrel” is just an object we have to get around and then hurry on to the next challenge. It’s just like life…. Seems so simple. The only thing simple about it is nothing!!! But there will always be another barrel race and the day will always contain 24 hours 🌎 All we can do is keep showing up and trying 🤗 photo by Boaz Elkes 📸
