I am very excited to announce the grand opening of the Labradog Life brand store. Labradors are my love, and I have created a few unique designs with a graphic artist celebrating the wonderful Labrador on T-shirts, sweatshirts, and other items. More designs are to come, but check out the store and let me know what you think. I ordered samples of all the products, and they are all very high quality materials and printing!

Pups are 10 1/2 weeks old now. We still have the 3 boys available to go home now. Peanut is adventurous and outgoing, Rolo likes to play hard and then cuddle, and Snickers just wants to hang out and give kisses. They are being fed twice daily in kennels, and we have started having them each sleep in their own kennel at night. They will receive their second bivalent flu and distemper/parvo vaccinations on Friday. These sweet boys need to find their families! We are located 1 hour north of Atlanta. At 9 weeks old most of the pups have gone to their homes. We still have 3 males available. Raising these pups is a labor of love for our whole family. They are 8 weeks old and ready to go to their forever homes. We feed them in crates which develops great recalls and a love of the crate. Pups are getting bigger and exploring their environment. We introduced them to some water this weekend, and then had a little dance and cuddle party last night! They are so much fun.

Pups are now 4 weeks old! They are continuing to grow and have started the weaning process. We start with mushy puppy food, and slowly change to softened kibble, then solid kibble. Once they reach 5 weeks we wean them from Mac and start feeding them separately in their own kennels so they don't have to fight over food. They are also spending time outside now that the yard has dried from the drenching Helene gave us. Let us know if you have any questions about these pups.

Pups are a little over 2 weeks old. They have opened their eyes, and their ears, and have become very vocal. They have been dewormed, had their 2nd nail trims, and given a million cuddles. Watching them learn to walk and play is one of the best parts of raising pups! A few are not spoken for yet, so contact us ASAP if you are interested!

Saw this post, and I think it explains why pups from a reputable breeder cost what they do. I breed for the love of the Lab, and trying to put some really great dogs out there, rather then making money. I guess our price is very reasonable for the quality of the pups we sell after reading this.🐾❤️

Puppies are now just over a week old. They have doubled in size, started to get their black pigment on noses and paws, and are even taking their first steps. We gave them their first nail trims which were a breeze as their paws are handled daily. This week we are looking forward to more walking and seeing their eyes opening.

Trying something new. I signed up for Amazon's affiliate program to share some products I have tried and love. This product is an absorbent pad that we use in our whelping pen to keep the pups clean and dry. It works fantastically, and has cute paw prints on the top, and rubberized paw prints on the bottom to prevent slipping. While we use it for whelping, they would also be great for protecting furniture and dog beds from dirt and moisture, or areas where babies or toddlers play or eat for easy cleanup. We wash them almost daily with the pups, and they have held up to hundreds of hot water washes at this point. If you have read this far, thanks for considering buying this product from my link!

Happy Labor Day! We are sure having a good weekend as Mac did her "Labor" and produced 9 healthy pups. She gave us 5 females and 4 males. Pups are getting weighed and having neural stimulation daily to make the smartest most resilient dogs we can produce. Just under 2 weeks left before Mac has her litter. She is definitely getting big, and I am excited to see her x-ray puppy count later this week. She is still getting her vitamins and supplements, along with increasing amounts of food to help those puppies grow. Our house is now on "lockdown" where we don't allow anyone with dogs on the property to protect the pups from contagious diseases. While I was taking her pregnant belly glamour shots, our Thoroughbred Rooster came over to say hi to Mac, and they touched noses. So sweet!

Mac is confirmed pregnant for her all-yellow Lab litter, due at the end of August!! Mac is always kept on a high quality kibble that is balanced for pregnancy, and when she started her heat we added additional pre-natal vitamins and high quality fish oil. This makes sure our pups are off to the best start as their brains and bodies are developing well before we can even scan for pregnancy.
