Considering placing these two lovely older mares in excellent homes.
Mae - Paint mare is early 20s, broke to ride, great solid trail horse, low maintenance other than soaked grain. She would be excellent for a lesson program, light trail riding, or as a companion. She was a starvation case and can be aggressive about her dinner. Best home only.
Maggie - 18-20 Standardbred mare (trotter) broke to ride, walk, trot, canter. Great on trails, solid and safe. Not a beginner horse as she has some speed. She gets barn and buddy sour and can pitch a fit riding away by herself. Soaked grain needed but otherwise no maintenance. Great for lesson program, light to moderate trail riding, or companion home.
Rescue horses will require vet and farrier references. Low (3s) or will make a deal on both together (preferred). Please PM for info.
