Well hello Romping Rover friends! I hope all has been well with everybody as you know, the owner that I sold my business to is no longer there. However, there will be a new person in my old location some of you may have already met her. She would help me out from time to time the urge you to go look at the new space to meet Chloe as she takes on this new journey.  I have known Chloe for at least 10 years. She is definitely one of the few people that I would trust with my own pet. I even trust her with my daughter. I hope everyone has been doing well and I certainly miss all my furry friends.

Stop on by Sunday November 5th 1-4pm for the opening of the shop!!

*dogs welcome to come with you but have to be friendly with other dogs and people and must be on leash!*

Well hello Romping Rover friends!! I miss you all. I hope a new groomer friends has found a way into your life. Things on my end are good. But I sure do miss working with dogs. Still trying to figure out how to change my name on this page to omit the pet salon part and change it to pet sitting. Starting June 25th I will be offering pet sitting in your home. I mainly will be focusing on mid day walks. But will extend walk times when needed to mornings or evenings. I’d love to see some friendly faces and please be sure to share my page. it would be much appreciated. Message me for some details rates start at $20 for 1/2 hour walk.

Goodbye, Romping Rover Pet salon! To all my amazing customers, whom I will never forget along with their furry friends, you have left a permanent spot on my heart. It is so very bitter, sweet for me. I’m excited for a new future, but its also with a heavy heart that I leave behind my childhood passion. Dogs!!! I’ve dedictated 25 years of my life to helping pets. I’ve done it all! Obedience training, working as a vet assistant (where it all started) managing a high end boarding facility, and of course grooming.  but owning my own business runs in my DNA, and it was always given for me that I would do so.  Romping Rover was my dream come true. And I never would’ve lasted as long as I did without the help of all my customers who have been so great to me. From the bottom of my heart thank you! 
And one last thing since I have an easy Peezy job now. It will allow me to do a little bit of pet sitting here in there for any of you who are interested . My number remains the same. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Hello friends!! The news I been keeping from you is that there will be a new salon owner taking over my space. The turnover will go into affect February 1st… with that said  I would like to introduce you to Britany! , here are some words that she wrote about herself hoping to get to know you guys.
 Hello my name is Britany! I’m a mother of three kids and we share our life with our cute little Morkie! I’ve been grooming dogs now for about three years however, I’ve been working with them since I was a little girl! Once I started to learn how to groom it quickly became my passion, and I fell in love with the art of making pets look and feel their best . I’ve worked for a few local companies, but owning my own salon was the ultimate goal and a huge dream of mine.
 It has been a joy working with all different pups from big to little and young to old. I am truly excited to meet those who are interested in continuing to come here. A new name is in the works but please feel free to reach out for more info and a possible appointment my number for the time being is 518-949-6893. I look forward to meeting everyone!

Hello romping rover friends! As you know, I will be closing the doors here middle of January.  But!!!  I want you all to stay tuned for some potential news coming my way.  I cannot say what it is, but it might be the answer to everybody’s questions as far as where they should go for a new groomer.

Good morning friends. Hope you are all taking the time to enjoy this holiday season. With the new year coming it is with a heavy heart that I am closing my doors here. I have had some health challenges over this year and it’s just time for me to make a change. January 14th will be my last day here. I will continue try and maintain the appointments I have booked until then. I have few limited spots left.
I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have stayed with me and trusted me with your babies. They each hold a place in my heart. Just as I adore your pets I adore you guys as well! You have shown such kindness to me and supported my small business. I feel blessed to have been your groomer and more importantly I’ve made so many new friends Ali g they way.
I will keep you all updated as the next couple weeks approach. Have a safe happy holiday!

Just a quick reminder that I am off to have surgery this coming Tuesday, November 22nd and I will not be back for at least two weeks after.  I am booked all the way up until Christmas. I don’t have anything else until after Christmas. Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.

If you need to reach me your best option is through text message as I have lost a significant amount of hearing in my ear the first surgery and it hard to hear anything while taking on the phone.  so text message is best .

Good evening Romping Rover friends. Like I had stated in my last post I am struggling with some arthritis. Lyme disease has been ruled out but I’m still struggling so I just ask that you bear with me. There have been appointments that I’ve had to reschedule because I am in quite a bit of pain. Also as another fun note I am scheduled to have surgery November 22nd on my left ear.  it will be similar to the surgery I had right as the summer started. I was out for about a week afterwards and I’m not allowed to lift anything over 20 pounds for at least 2 to 3 weeks following the surgery. I just want to say thank you everybody for their patience and your continued support and business.

Just wanted to give a heads up on a few things. My summer hours will remain as they were 9:30-3pm
With some afternoon appointments mixed in.

Also I’m battling either lyme disease ( still waiting on results) or I’m battling some other type of arthritis it has hit my arms, wrists and fingers the worst. Last week between my daughter being sick and home from school and then the issues with my arms I had to reschedule lots of appointments so I apologize. I will get to you soon and schedule the missed appointment. Also to the tons of calls I’m working it, I’m just back up.  if you’re frustrated with me I’m sorry.. I’m frustrated too with myself.

Elizabeth is excited to announce the launch of her new business Adventure Dogs Unlimited. Adventure dogs has been something Elizabeth has been dreaming about doing for years and we are beyond thrilled that its finally happening. The programs offered at Adventure Dogs Unlimited will be anything but ordinary. Elizabeth has pulled together her personal love of travel, the outdoors and teaching as well as her 25 year professional passion of everything dog to bring her students the oppurtunity to deepen and expand their relationship with their dog. Programs are based both in classroom and out with the focus on FUN! Our goal? Team Education and Confidence that will carry you through your next K9 Adventure!

Hi friends, just a quick update. I had surgery on Thursday and will be closed at least into next week. For those who have scheduled appointments for next week I will reach out soon To confirm if I’m able to keep those appointments. My surgery was a bit more involved then I thought. I still have a bit of healing to do. I had to have a total reconstruction on my ear and it’s been a delicate recovery, but I’m better everyday.
I want to also say thank you to all my customers who have reached out to see how I was doing. Your kind words remind me of how wonderful each and everyone of you are. I hope to be back sooner than later and I’m working on finding some help in the meantime.
Thanks for the continued support. You guys are the best!!

Good morning friends! On June 23rd I will be having what I thought was going to be a minor surgery. My doctor has informed me that I will not be allowed to lift anything over 20lbs or strain for a total of 4 weeks. I will only be taking little dogs that I know to be well behaved. I definitely cannot do any large dogs unfortunately. I highly recommend that you schedule now to get on my June schedule! I will also have to be off for the week following my procedure. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. Trust me it stresses me out knowing I have to push out appointments. If you have an appointment scheduled already that falls on or after the 23rd I will reach out to get you scheduled a couple days prior.

Just to update everyone since I have neglected to do so. I did have Covid but I am back to work . I have no more appointments for this month but have openings for the month of February. Thank you to all who showed care and concern. I’m so very blessed to have such wonderful customers.

Happy New Year to all hope you are all staying safe and healthy. Today I was tested for Covid I was in direct contact with a family member who tested positive. As of now I will not be taking new appointments for this month. If you need an appointment for February I can do that. I’ll be getting results hopefully by Tuesday. So Monday and Tuesday appointments will need to be rescheduled. I am showing symptoms so please show patiences as I navigate through this. And reschedule everyone. Hopefully I get over this quick.

Please don’t take this as a political statement! I have seen small businesses all day making statements about the mask mandate requiring a mask in their businesses and are taking heat from customers for enforcing it. With that said  if you were going to enter my salon during the mask mandate please wear a mask. If you do not want to wear a mask that is fine and that is your choice. If you choose not to please advise me ahead of time, and I will meet you at the door to take your pet. You will not be allowed in the building. The last thing I need is for somebody to file a complaint. This is my livelihood and it’s my only source of income so I please ask during this mandate that you respect my business if I will be grooming your dog. I don’t like this Mandate more than anybody else, I know that we’re all sick and tired of it …I sure am!
