Our closing ceremony of our first Dog Olympics class🎖️
We worked on the do more with your dog torch relay title. Consisting of 3 lanes of different obstacles and relay races. We did about 18-20 laps coming in around .54 miles 🔥
It was a faster paced class tonight with the intensity high and they definitely earned their spot on the winners podium 🇺🇲
Now tell us what sports would your dog have participated in? Ike's would have been shot put. I think the goldens, Bailey and Shadow were swimmers 😆

Bubble Battle: Ike vs Hazel 🫧
These are non toxic bubble treats, maple bacon flavored to be exact, that your dog can safely pop away to their hearts content 😆
Clearly Hazel won this challenge! It kept her busy for a good 10 minutes, longer if we would have kept playing lol
Ike on the other hand did become interested in the smell, but that's about it, then he seemed more annoyed with them flying around his head.
These are good for some sensory and enrichment time, but based on the price, it's probably more for special occasions or once a year. If your dog is not interested in regular bubbles, they probably won't be with these either, but if they are then definitely give them a try especially for something to do on these hot days 🔥

Hi every puppy 🐶 🐾 getting ready for swim season ! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 working on planks and train tracks for core strength 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾. We are using Blue-9 Pet Products 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 you can use any equipment at home to improvise 🐾🐾🐾🐾. Building core strength is great for swimming, floating and paddle boarding. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 of course maintaining core strength helps your pups with daily activities 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾. Have fun and you can plank with your pup too 🐾🐾🐾

These all connect in Brentwood, MO using the yellow oak trail to make a loop 🐾
I'd recommend parking at Hanley, Memorial or Oak Tree Park as there wasn't a parking lot at Broughton Park and using the map key the first time so you don't get lost. Some parts were shady and some parts were sunny, but there were lots to smell all over! 🐕
Using things in nature on our Workout Walks like these road blocker poles or whatever you call them??
Figure 8's are a great exercise to work on everyday for mobility with so many things you can use to keep it interesting! 🐾
We've been working on the Balance Beam Dog Olympics Challenge in Puplates class 🏆
Last week we used a few Cato Outdoors Boards and look at how all the different dogs go 🐾
We love Margo, a senior dog that comes to our Puplates class 🐾
She's a 12 years young westie who's the sweetest 🥰
And here she is in class working on her balance with the FitPaws fitbones 🏋️♀️
As we age we lose muscle mass and strength so it's important to work on balance! 💕
And she's making it look so cool 😎

This a small park in Crestwood, MO. It's only about .25 miles and has a nice little hill that leads up to a smaller portion of the park.
It is pretty shady so it could be perfect for the warmer days when you're looking for somewhere to explore, by still try to do it in the less hotter parts of the day. Or for older dogs that want to explore, but tire easily.
They also a small water bowl dog fountain 💦
Only street parking is available.
Leashed dogs are allowed, remember to be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pet 🐾💕

Walking backwards uphill will engage more of the quads for each of you and more of their chest & back since they're on 4 legs compared to us 2 legged humans 🐾

We have a piece of equipment that requires balance - can also be done on a solid piece of equipment or step - 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾- Bailey is getting increased resistance when moving left and right off and on the piece of equipment 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾.
For me a plank and moving left and right hands - difficult on hardwood floors - it paired more successful moving to carpet.
This interval works both humans and pups shoulders - balance - strength and abs.
These short training exercise sessions takes 10 minutes and the after affects of bond- trust last a lifetime
