We have had German Shorthairs for over forty years. We are hunters and our dogs are bred to hunt. We also trial our dogs.

The dogs and I had a great trip
Every bird taken was over the dogs points. Nothing better than wild birds. 9 days on the grasslands is a great start of the season. Next stop will be the GSPCA Nationals Eureka Kansas. Haley, in the string of Rich Barber, will be running in both the Amateur and the Open.

Having a lot of bird contacts. Weather is supposed to cool down for the weekend.

Haley ranked #1 Open Limited. Great job Rich Barber.

Rich won the Open Gundog with Haley this past weekend in S Georgia. This finished her as a Field Champion, pending AKC approval!

Haven't posted in awhile, but got some great news on Murphy's Van Halen. "Haley" is with Rich Barber in Georgia for winter camp. Rich let me know that she placed 2nd in the Gator Regional Championship and won the Open Gundog this weekend. Rich is doing a great job with her.
