Dog(s)* of the Month
Meet our dynamic duo, Lilly & Ruby!
Why two instead of one? Because you can’t have Lilly without Ruby or Ruby without Lilly! Though they come from different households, these two are as close as sisters can be. Even their families coordinate pick-up and drop-off duties to keep them together.
Lilly and Ruby are our Dogs of the Month not just for their "good boi" charm, but also for their exceptional friendliness and patience. They make our partial play program shine, providing balanced and patient playmates for those who aren’t quite ready for full daycare yet.
Thank you, Lilly & Ruby, for being such wonderful ambassadors of the Baltimore Bark House purposeful play and personalized stays!

Dog of the Month - Eleven
Meet Eleven, our Dog of the Month!
One of the most rewarding experiences for BBH team members is witnessing a pup's growth and social development. Eleven initially joined us for private enrichment sessions due to previous issues in social settings. Rejected by other daycares for being too energetic, Eleven was initially nervous around new people and sometimes nipped at them. Through dedicated efforts, the BBH team successfully earned her trust, leading to her transition from private enrichment to the Partial Play program. This program combines individualized and social activities to help dogs learn to interact with others. This month, Eleven achieved another milestone by advancing from the Partial Play program to the full Social program! She has now mastered appropriate play behavior with her canine friends. Congrats Eleven!
Employee Spotlight - Kellie
Meet Kellie! She was thrilled to join the Baltimore Bark House family as a daycare attendant and enrichment specialist. While she's explored various careers over the years, none have been as gratifying as working with our furry companions. She's looking forward to receiving slobbery kisses, wearing fur-covered clothes, and having her heart brimming with the unconditional love of your fur babies.
Dog of the Month Guinness
Meet Guinness, Baltimore Bark House's Dog of the Month!
Guinness is a sweetheart who takes a little time to warm up to new beings, especially after a previous negative experience with other dogs and humans. To ensure her safety and promote positive interactions, she's one of our muzzled playmates.
Muzzle training allows dogs like Guinness to safely meet new people and other dogs, helping them build confidence and enjoy positive experiences. At Baltimore Bark House, we use muzzles as a training tool to mitigate risks, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all our furry friends. Our small playgroups in daycare enable us to implement muzzle training safely, providing individualized attention in a controlled setting where dogs can thrive.
Thanks to our dedicated pet service career-oriented staff who have built her trust through consistent interactions, and the regular visits and dedication of her pet parent, we have established a strong relationship with Guinness, allowing her to become comfortable, happy, and playful.
Meet Jenna
Meet Jenna! A Baltimore Bark House team Daycare Enrichment Specialist! Her excitement of coming to work and engaging with your beloved pets shines through and brings her a lot of satisfaction and fulfillment. Jenna's passion for animals has been a driving force throughout her career. She has over four years of experience working with dogs in doggie daycares, animal hospitals, and in programs to socialize dogs that had behavioral or special needs.
Dog of the Month - Millie
Millie started her journey with Baltimore Bark House back in December. Bursting with energy, she bounded in, eager to play but uncertain how to communicate. Millie struggled to grasp boundaries, listen to attendants, and couldn't relax with other pups. However, as months went by working with her on manners and communication, a remarkable transformation unfolded. Millie began to learn the cues of her furry companions, engaging in gentler play and taking her own rest breaks. Witnessing this transformation was wonderful. Baltimore Bark House is immensely proud of Millie's progress and looks forward to her continued growth.
Fond Farewell
Today, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Sarah as she embarks on a new journey. Sarah has been an integral part of Baltimore Bark House, bringing dedication, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for our furry friends every day.
Sarah helped open Baltimore Bark House back in mid-October, two months before we opened our doors to you and your furry pups. She was instrumental in setting up most of the equipment you see inside, and her beloved dog Doobie was a doggie ambassador for the first dogs through our doors. We fondly remember Doobie and Phoebe, and we celebrate Sarah's new pups, Cooper and Bean!
Sarah's hard work and love for the individual dog's personality will always be remembered. We will miss your special bond you had with each animal.
Thank you for your incredible contributions, Sarah. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
With gratitude and warm wishes,
The Baltimore Bark House Team
Meet Acadia
🐾 Meet Acadia: Our New Foster! 🐾
We're thrilled to introduce Acadia, the latest Baltimore Bark House foster! This charming canine companion comes to us with a wagging tail and a heart full of love to share. She's a loving pup who's always up for fun, whether it's romping through the Bark Park or lounging in pjs. As her foster family, we're committed to providing Acadia with all the care, comfort, and cuddles she needs as she waits for her forever family to find her.
Fostering gives dogs like Acadia a safe and loving environment while they wait for their forever homes. It's a temporary commitment that makes a world of difference in a dog's life, providing them with the love, care, and socialization they need to thrive. Whether you're interested in fostering, adopting, or supporting in any way there are plenty of resources and organizations, like BARCS and the Frankie Fund, that can help guide you through the process and find the perfect match for you and your lifestyle. Visit BARCS.org to learn more about fostering, adopting, or supporting their mission to save and improve the lives of animals in need.

Dogs of the Month - Giggs and Gunnar
These two brothers serve as the greeting squad for every newcomer. Giggs, the quiet one, has a fondness for scratches on the butt and enjoys the occasional "catch me if you can" ball game. Gunnar, the younger and more exuberant of the pair, adores all. He's the heart and soul of the playgroup, ensuring every pup is happily worn out by the end of playtime.

Meet Baltimore Bark House's Dog of the Month!
Argo is a wonderful, sweet old boy. He started daycare with us while his dad is opening his new location SWEAT Bmore. Argo is our senior enforcer and is excellent at communication both with other pups and when asking for head pats from his humans (Which we are all more than happy to provide) Argo loves seeing his friends and sun bathing in our outside Bark Park.
