Topaz Found Her Forever Home!

Our beautiful foster pup, Topaz, has officially found her forever home—and the best part? She’ll still be joining us at Baltimore Bark House!

Her new family, longtime daycare clients, had been searching for the perfect sibling for their dog, Blue, who has some difficulty meeting new dogs outside of BBH. With support from our team, Topaz and Blue built trust through barrier introductions in our neutral yet familiar space over several weeks. This careful process culminated in a successful off-leash meeting at BARCS with Blue’s parents. Now, they’re the perfect pair.

Thank you to everyone who supported Topaz’s foster journey. She has found her perfect family, and we are thrilled to see her continue to thrive in her new home—and here at daycare.

🌈 Remembering Lola 🌈

We are heartbroken to learn that Lola, a beloved member of the Baltimore Bark House family, has crossed the rainbow bridge.

She brought so much love and joy to every visit. From going on walks to snoozing after playtime, she made an unforgettable mark on our team and fellow pups.

Lola will be greatly missed, but we will always cherish the happy moments and paw prints she left behind.

New Group Training Classes Start January 22nd!

You asked, and we delivered! After our private training classes with Yvonne booked up in a flash, we’re thrilled to announce group training classes this January for National Train Your Dog Month! 🎉

Join us Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM, starting January 22nd, for a fun, interactive environment where your pup will learn essential skills like sit, stay, come, and loose leash walking.

Perfect for beginners and dogs of all ages, this 6-class series is all about building confidence, good manners, and a stronger bond between you and your furry friend.

📅 Details:
🐶 Class Size: 5 pups per class
💲 Cost: $120 for 6 sessions
📍 When: Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM, starting January 22nd

Meet Topaz, Baltimore Bark House's newest (and sweetest) resident foster pup!

Found abandoned and starving in our neighborhood, Topaz’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring. With the help of the BARCS veterinarian team and a BBH staff member, Topaz has made an incredible recovery. Now healthy enough for her next chapter, she officially moved into BBH last week as an adoptable pup through BARCS with the entire BBH Team making sure she gets all the care and pets she deserves.

This shy but curious girl is gaining confidence (and weight!) every day and has already won hearts—with a couple of adoption applications in the works! For now, you might catch her peeking out of the office during drop-off and pickup, charming everyone she meets.

We’re so proud to be a part of her journey and can’t wait to see her find the forever home she deserves. If you are interested in helping pups like Topaz, stop by the lobby.

January Enrichment Calendar - Happy National Train Your Dog Month

We’re excited to kick off the year with daily and weekly enrichment activities, group training classes, and Birthday/Gotcha Day Celebration packages. With weekly themes, we ensure every pup gets a chance to join in the fun, no matter which day they attend daycare!

Training isn’t just important for your pups—it’s essential for our staff too. To ensure we continue providing top-notch care, we’ll hold staff training sessions to include Pet First Aid and CPR certification with daycare closed on Monday, January 6th and Monday, February 3rd with limited daycare. We will use these days as well to conduct building maintenance and upgrades. For those pups in need, Daystay services will be available on January 6th in lieu of daycare.

Deck the Paws with Socks!

Our very own staff pup, Socks, got a festive makeover with safe, colorful grooming just in time for Christmas Eve! Look at those adorable "socks" and his reindeer antlers—he's ready to guide Santa's sleigh (or maybe just spread cheer at the Bark House).

Creative grooming is always done with safety and care to keep our furry friends happy and healthy.
