The x-ray on the left is of a foxtail tract that was injected with contrast medium to show just how far a foxtail can travel. The lesion between the toes of the foot on the bottom right is how these tracts will look to the naked eye. This is a great example of just how far foxtails can migrate in tissues. Thank you to Dr. Andrew Grange from Veterinary Surgical Centers in Berkeley for this amazing x-ray.

As you know, I do not pet sit down here in FL. Today, Saturday, I got a call from my neighbor saying he has left for Christmas vacation (Friday-Wednesday) and would I please give food and water to the cats who live on the other side of him. Their home is not livable because of Irma and the owners are staying about 30 miles away. The water dish was green from algae and the plants were dry/dying/dead.

Louise came to FARM from BCAS in need of a forever home. She is a 7 year old, 7 pound spayed female Chihuahua. She is timid but very sweet and seems to be fine with other small dogs. These two dogs have been together their whole lives and were just given up by their owners in wv.
It is very obvious that they are bonded as they acted very sad until we put them next to each other
We would love to find a home for them together so if u could share this that would be great
They are brother and sister and they are very calm dogs and very loving

UPDATE. COMMENT IN POST Says They Have BEEN Found And ARE Home SAFE.

LOST DOGS: Phoenix, MD (Baltimore County)
"Jasper and Oliver are our two Old English Sheepdogs (picture attached). They got out of the yard on the evening of the 4th. A tree had fallen on our fence and provided them a place to get out before I even realized a tree was down. They did not have their collars on at the time, so there is no identification with them. I posted flyers around the Phoenix area yesterday (of course it rained today) put information out on a few databases and placed a notice in Craig’s List. I have sent emails like this to Companion Animal Hospital in Phoenix, who is their vet and Baltimore Animal Control, Carol’s Pet Rescue Action Pet Rescue. The closest intersection to our house is Sweet Air and Manor Rd. We are in Baltimore County, but not far from the Harford County line. Due to fact that there are not many Old English Sheepdogs in the area, the fact they are big and traveling together, I think they would stand out if they are in plain sight and not in the woods. If you hear anything, could you please contact me at 443-326-1827."

Beautiful markings!

Hello there! I am a 6 year old darling named Snooky, and I am anxiously awaiting for my purr-fect person to come adopt me and take me to my new home. My previous owner said that I have never been around other cats, dogs, or kids, so I'm not really sure how I feel about them since I have never met them before. My favorite place to be is on a comfy couch, and while I may be considered a "couch potato", I do get the occasional urge to play if you show me a toy mouse or ball. I am a beautiful girl inside and out, and if you adopt me I just know that you will fall in love with me and we will be best friends forever!
