The Center for Image-Guided Animal Therapy (CIGAT) is a state-of-the-art, internationally recognized, advanced diagnostic imaging facility designed specifically for veterinary patients. CIGAT offers a suite of advanced, multi-modality imaging solutions for veterinary patients including:
• X-ray fluoroscopy
• Computed tomography (CT)
• 1.5T, 3T, and 7T Magnetic Resonance Imaging and angiography (MRI/MRA)

Zeke completed his fifth and final radiation therapy along with chemotherapy for his presumed brain tumor as part of our glioma clinical trial at the Center for Image-Guided Animal Therapy. Happy to report he is doing well, and we wish him all the best. Next update after his MRI in 3 months!

Puck visit CIGAT

Puck is a 10 year old French Bulldog, who has recently started to have seizure. Notice that between seizures, he appears to be fairly normal. An MRI showed that he has a brain tumor. Without treatment, Puck's prognosis is poor, but with medications his seizures are currently under control.

Cardiac MRI in a Doberman

Short-axis cardiac MRI of a Doberman Pinscher Dog

This is a video from a cine MRI of the left and right ventricles of the heart in a Doberman Pinscher showing the paradoxical motion of the septum of the heart during contraction. Doberman Pinscher's are at high risk of developing DCM, and cardiac MRI may assist with showing heart changes earlier than echocardiography.

Bulldog Kisses

Brian was having some issues with his rear end and MRI was used to diagnosis the problem. His recovery from anesthesia was uneventful, and he was giving lots of kisses of appreciation.
