The hardest part is getting going!
That’s why we always recommend starting small. Grab a small stack of papers or tackle one drawer that’s been bothering you. Organizing is a marathon, not a sprint. Sort and categorize, donate/trash unwanted items and contain everything!

Ahhhh that fresh kitchen feeling!
A super fun job, using lots of @thehomeedit products and peg boards! Storing bulky things like pots, pans and Tupperware can quickly junk up precious cabinet space. With large enough drawers, peg boards are a wonderful option for creative storage. Pegs are moveable and can be configured to fit just about any size item.
Happy organizing!

Time for a shelf refresh!
Collections are meant to be displayed, and every so often they need to be shaken up! For the most visually pleasing groupings, consider arranging by size, color, pattern, shape, etc. Place the biggest pieces first and use smaller pieces to fill in gaps.

Trust the process!
We’ll never forget this closet — a whole room just for the client’s clothes!
Our team downsized, categorized and stored dresses, sweaters, accessories, shoes and more, and we ended up with more shelf and storage space than we started with.
Some tips for storing in large closets:
1) Zone your space! Designate categories, such as seasons, garment type, color, etc. You’ll know where to put items back every time.
2) Beware of floor piles! It’s easy to toss clothes on the floor and watch the pile grow and grow. Have a laundry basket or hamper in the space if possible. Once it’s full, out it goes!
3) Display your favorite pieces. If you’ve got the room, show off your stuff!
Happy organizing!
