We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we are expecting a litter of working line pups out of our TTK9 Working Dog Breeding Program!! They are expected around the middle of May!
This pairing should have very intense drive and workability yet be incredibly social with nice on/off switches. Both parents work directly for us here at TTK9 and are owned by our very own Emmie Haase.
These pups should be well suited as Police/Military K-9, PPD, SAR, Sport Dog, Contract WD prospects and those will be the priority. We will help pair a pup based on your specific needs.

Congrats 🎉🎊🍾🎈 are in order for this big fella!
This is Maverick and tonight he just finished up his Board and Train program with Trainer Bryan and had an outstanding go home session with his family! Maverick came to us as a large and unruly puppy terrorist. We are happy to report this young fella learned some new manners and is now equipped as is his owners with some new skills to enhance all of their lives and bolstered their means of communication with each other. Be a good boy Mav and we will see you soon for your next session!

We would like to give a special shoutout to Basil Joint Fire District for their hospitality today. They hosted us as we provided Narcotics Detection Training to some of our Police K-9 Teams. We completely forgot to take photos today as we were busy running dogs. However next time we will be sure to get some shots of the Chiefs & Crew with our dog teams!

In honor of National Puppy Day we would like to share the closest current version of a “puppy” in our personal pack and he is not so puppy anymore. He is now 9 months old and creeping up towards 80lbs. We have trained many of puppies since last National Puppy Day and we have plenty more to train in the year ahead!

Meet Zuma!
This cute little fella just started one of our Private One on One In Home Programs with us this evening. He had a phenomenal session and his Momma did great with instruction as well. We worked on the Come, Sit, Down, Place and Stay commands and he rocked it! Not bad for being just over 9 weeks old. This young Lab is going to be a hard little worker and we are excited to help Zuma and family reach their max potential together!

Another Training Tuesday!
We didn’t get any pics or videos from the Patrol work today. However here are a few pics and video clips from detection. Yesterday we started another Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) Handlers Course. It’s off to a great start. K-9 Zeela is getting in some final touches as well. She will be getting ready to join her new Handler in the near future!

Yesterday we hosted a “Intro To Human Remains Detection” Seminar/Workshop. We had some teams from Central Ohio Rescue/Recovery K9 Unit & Southern Ohio Canine Search and Rescue-SOCS in attendance. We had dogs from 6 months of age up to a few years old in attendance. We covered Search Patterns and Techniques, Dopamine Box drills, our (TTK9) Imprinting process, teaching a final response, focus and loyalty to odor, trouble shooting, Q & A session and much more!
The Handlers all really seemed to enjoy the course and learned some new techniques and methods to the madness if you will.
The dogs all did a great job, we have some video we will share once we break them down into smaller clips as each video if pretty long.
All in all a very good day of training with some good folks. We got to see some old friends and make some new ones. As always thank you for choosing TTK9 and thank you for serving your community and the surrounding communities on your respective Search and Rescue Teams!

The past two weeks our K-9 teams have been hard at work. We conducted searches of all but 1 of Northern Local School Districts schools. The remaining one will be done….soon too 😉.
Our teams help ensure that the students & staff have a safe learning and work environment to enjoy. Additionally it gives that extra peace of mind to the parents knowing their child’s district is going the extra mile to provide additional security measures thus enhancing the safety of their campuses as a whole.

Police K-9 Reiko and his Handler conduct a simulated assault on Handler with a “Door Pop” in which the Handler hits a button that pops the door on his cruiser and allows his K-9 the ability to come to the defense of his Handler.
Not shown due to OPSEC is the Handler practicing being able to take a position of cover and command his K9 to release the bite and recall to the Handler while the “suspect” is on the ground waiting for simulated “back up officers and EMS personnel”

Here Zeela is getting gunfire exposure training. As a Police K-9 Zeela needs to be neutral to gunfire and not reactive or aggressive if and when presented with it during her career.
***Before anyone asks about why she isn’t wearing any ear protection we have to expose her to it like she will see it on the street during her initial training to see what her response to it will be. When on duty if in a situation where gunfire were to occur there is no time to “pause” or “take a time out” to put on her ear protection. As she continues to be exposed during her career ear protection will be on her during range days for proficiency fire.***

Unlike some Dog Trainers, we at Triple Threat K9 are open to any and all breeds. We also work with and specialize in dogs with aggressive behaviors.
All of our client’s are added to a private/closed FB page that has training videos, training tips, and is an open forum for clients to talk with our Staff and each other. Clients are also encouraged to share videos of their training and updates on how they are progressing!
What is Private Training?
Private Training is conducted in home & in public. They are one on one training sessions and are conducted primarily off leash. This training style provides ample attention focused solely on you and your dog. Our private training allows for your pup to be trained in its natural environment and home setting. Our Staff comes to you and really customizes your training regiment to meet you needs. Additionally this allows our Staff to correct unwanted behaviors at the home which is huge for many of our client’s. This style of training provides superior results!!
Whats is Group Setting?
In a group setting you are in a class with up to 9 other dogs (No more than 10 dogs per class). All group setting training is conducted ON LEASH, unless otherwise directed by our Staff. The benefits of this training is its great for socialization of your pup and to learn the basics. You will be around other dogs where your dog will not only learn from training but learn from their peers. The downsides to group settings is there are more distractions than our private training, you also have less one on one time with our Staff unlike in our private lessons. Group Training is cheaper than private lessons and still can set your pup up for success, it just depends on what your needs are. That being said, not all dogs are a good fit for Group settings. ***Our Staff reserves the right to remove any dogs that are disruptive to the class.***
At Triple Threat K9 we focus on making training fun and exciting for you the owner/handler and of course the main client, your dog. We train you how to train your dog!! We strive to maximize and unleash you and your pups true potential. We focus on meeting your needs as a client and wont settle for anything less.
