We're hiring! Seeking candidates for our Program Coordinator position. This full time position manages our Urban Youth Agriculture Program (UYAP) workforce development project for youth ages 12-19 years.

The model combines at STEM based approach with paid job training and classroom instruction to ensure participants gain and retain employment and move towards self-sufficiency with a focus on agricultural career opportunities. Position is responsible for the development, implementation, management of the program.

Last week, Waterkeepers Chesapeake met with legislators for the premiere of our short film, The Dirt On Soil Health. Viewers learn about public policy that can help urban and rural farms to grow soil, increase resilience to flood and drought, and restore water quality. Thank you to Strength to Love Farm, Mason's Heritage Farm and Delegate Andrea Harrison for sharing their stories in the film.
