Maggie (tag can be seen on collar), Astrid (cream) and Aretha (black with yellow collar) are looking for new couches.

Maggie is full sister to our male. She’s super cool and loves all people she meets, and feels so much better after having her entropion surgery! (It’s almost like she’s a completely different dog) She doesn’t care for the females in the house, but gets along splendidly with her brother. She would do best in a home without another female.

Astrid is a fun loving goof and simply wants your attention all day long. She’s been spayed for your convenience. She’s a fence jumper, but ties out well and has pretty decent recall for the breed. Lol

Aretha is protective of her home, and truly doesn’t know how small she is. Spayed for your convenience, she would love an active home with older kids. She plays rough with other dogs as she is trying to cement her place in the pack. She runs fine with both mom and dad.

Due to our health, it is in their be**er interest to find these girls forever homes.

Introducing Maggie. She’s looking for a couch to surf all by herself, as she’s having issues getting along with our dogs and prefers no competition for attention.

More about Maggie. She’s 24 months, and ready for OFA’s in December and tested CNV 6. Still intact, and a bit grouchy when it’s ‘that time’. She has an excellent demeanor with people, especially children. She’s curious, more than standoffish, with new people, which is a plus to those a bit newer to the breed. She’s pretty low key and is content to cuddle up with you or sunbathe when the opportunity presents. She loves nothing more than to find out what you’re doing and tag along. She’s the perfect sleeping partner and will curl up at the end of the bed to let you sleep soundly; even lulling you to sleep with her snores.

We didn’t come to this decision lightly, as she’s a great dog; but continued arguments with the rest of our dogs prevents us from keeping her.

We don’t have tiny babies at the moment. (We do have a couple older pups)

Adults are bred with care, puppies are raised in the home and under foot for utmost monitoring and valuable sound/sight/smell introduction.

Started early with ENS, babies are handled frequently as everyone in the home is involved with raising! 🐾 💗 As they grow, different scents, sounds, textures, and obstacles are introduced. (Seriously, my childrens’ daycare wasn’t this well equipped)

Each pup from a litter is raised as if it were the only one, showered with love, affection, cuddles, and snuggles while also learning from siblings and momma. 🐾 💗🐾 💗🐾

At S. Suede Shar Pei, our dogs are pets/family members above all else. Vetting is done to ensure their health is maintained at a premium level. Our pups are raised in our home, under foot, and amongst other adults when age appropriate. They receive excellent socialization (even with the resident kitty) and are started at potty training at the earliest age possible; this saves the sanity of ourselves as well as their forever homes. Puppies leave fully vetted with a health certificate, age appropriate vaccines, eye tacking if needed, and wormed.

We love and raise them as though they’ll be a part of our family forever, to ease the transition to their forever families. They come pre-spoiled with love, taught boundaries, and ready for your home to assimilate with as much preparation as we can give them. Our older dogs help teach manners, and guide them through which are the best toys, what can’t be chewed on, and going outside to potty.

Our goal is to help improve the health of the breed overall, while providing excellent family members for you.
