HAPPY EARTH DAY! You know what would make for an awesome Earth Day celebration? Adopting another EARTHLING into your family!

While the jury seems to be out on whether animals with black fur are actually adopted at a slower rate than other animals, there is no denying that right now we have lots of animals with darker coats looking for their fur-ever homes. 🐾⚾ We’re Heading to the Ballpark — Today! ⚾🐾

The Husson University Softball Team is showing their support for Bangor Humane Society at their game today, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it! 💚🐶

Come find us at the game to learn how you can support BHS! While you're there:

🧺 Drop off much-needed supply donations
💰 Contribute to the spare change drive
🎟️ Buy raffle tickets for a pup-approved Easter basket
🐶 And come check out Johnny 5 the puppy as he cheers on the team!

🕒 Game time is 3 PM and 5PM, but we’ll be set up early with volunteers and Husson reps ready to greet you — so come by before first pitch and say hi!
📍 Location: Husson University

🎤 During the game, the announcers will be sharing fun facts about BHS and highlighting some of our adorable animals looking for homes — so listen in and maybe meet your new best friend! 🐾💛

You're not gonna believe this, but Om Land Yoga is offering up their Brewer space for a GOAT YOGA CLASS on Sunday, April 20th at 10am to benefit the animals of BHS! Our Licensed Veterinary Technician, Stacey, will be bringing four of her very own baby goats, and since they're all used to being around humans, they may get pretty curious!
