This cute little wiggle-worm puppy stopped by for a microchip today! Her and her human were surprised at how quick it was, and how she didn't even react to the microchipping - it’s only about the size of a grain of rice! For just $30, this pup got her microchip, is registered for her lifetime (no monthly subscriptions), and her human gets peace of mind knowing she has an added layer of protection while she works on her recall training in puppy classes. 8 YEARS! 8 years ago Salty Dogs announced our free puppy class program. Our #1 priority is, and always has been, to build a community of dogs who feel safe in the world, and owners who understand how to live happily with them. If the beginning, this most important stage, isn't accessible to all, we're not doing enough. Since 2017 we have worked with over 2,000 (!!) dogs and owners in this free-for-everyone program. I am so proud of what we've built.

Puppy class, for dogs 16 weeks and younger, meets every Saturday at 9:30am and dogs can start any time (with registration!) This week is full, but join Shelby next week to get started learning and playing with your dog!

Unfortunately, we have been taken advantage of for the second time. 😀

While I try to be as accommodating as I can and as understanding of people's circumstances as I can, I cannot tolerate non-payment. I have employees to pay, rent and utilities to pay, ✨️taxes✨️, and an entire family to care for. This isn't a little hobby; this my and my employees' livelihoods.

Moving forward, if you are not an established client of ours, you will not be able to pay via invoice. Payment is required up front in either cash, check, credit/debit card, Venmo or PayPal.

I'm sorry that some people suck and ruin things for others. 😒

I appreciate the understanding, and above all, I appreciate those who chose not to take advantage of small businesses. 🫶
