Meet The Groomer ❤️🐾

At Mutty Pawz Grooming, I am dedicated to provide professional and compassionate grooming services for your pet. I attended the Whole Pet Grooming Academy and graduated with an Advanced Pet Stylist certification with training in animal behavior as well. I have several years of experience and stay consistent with my education by studying different courses and seminars frequently. My fear free approach is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable during their groom to give them a happy and calm experience. I take pride in creating a stress free, cage free, one on one environment so that your pet feels safe and loved during their spa day with me! - Sierra

With so many new fans and followers we thought we would address some frequently asked questions 🥰🐾

Service areas?
We service Bangor, Brewer, Orrington, Holden, Eddington, Veazie, Orono, Old Town, Milford, Glenburn, Kenduskeag, Levant, Hermon, Carmel, Newburgh, Hampden, Winterport, Frankfort, Busksport, and Verona Island.

We also service Dover-Foxcroft, Greenville, and Rockwood area one weekend a month.

If you are not in our service area, we can always meet you in the closest town near you to groom your pups. Although we are mobile, we have to limit driving time as much as possible so that we have more time in our day to groom and not drive. We encourage online booking because our smart scheduling app will group together addresses close to each other limiting driving time so that we can groom more dogs per day! 🙂

How big of a dog can we groom?
Our tub is full size and can withstand breeds of up to 150lbs.

How do dogs get in the tub?
We have an electric grooming table that goes all the way to the floor and acts as an elevator for the larger breeds. We then have a bridge that connects the table over to the tub for easy access.

How long does each appointment take? Appointments can range from 45min - 2hrs based on the length and condition of each dog’s coat.

Do I have to be home?
Not necessarily. If it’s more convenient for you to have us groom your pup while you’re at work we can! We just need access to the dog when we arrive and we will follow your instructions at the time of the appointment.

What do you accept for payment?
We accept card, cash, check, or Venmo!

Do you need to hookup to water?
We have two 50gallon insulated water tanks on our van that we use for our daily appointments so that we don’t require a water hookup.

Winter services?
We will be working all year round in this beauty! We have electric heaters and propane water heaters to ensure your pups get a nice warm bath and stays nice and toasty inside the van with Sierra during their spa day!

What an amazing 6 weeks it has been since opening! We are overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement! We have over 200 clients already and are accumulating more by the day! We are so happy that you enjoy our services as much as we love your pets! We want to encourage everyone to rebook at the time of your appointment since slots are first come/first serve! We don’t require you to rebook but the sooner you schedule your next appointment, the better to ensure your pet stays on a consistent grooming schedule ❤️🐾 thank you to all you amazing supporters, fans, and clients! Hey Moosehead Lake friends! We are in the area until Monday 10/21! We have a busy weekend of dogs scheduled but if you have a pup in need of a bath give us a shout and we will squeeze you in! 🥰🐾❤️

These chilly mornings are getting us so excited for the upcoming season! This van is highly engineered and allows us to work all through the year! Our two insulated tanks hold 50gallons of water each that we use for all of our daily appointments. By the end of the day we drain the tanks and pipes so no water is left inside the van overnight even though they can withstand tempuratures of -15! We then plug in the van each night to charge our electric batteries that give us power for the next busy day, but it also kicks on our electric heaters inside the van to keep it nice and toasty to prevent freeze damage. Our smart technology inside regulates the temperature so it doesn’t over heat! Pretty cool stuff! We can’t wait to see you for your next appointment this winter! ❤️🐾
